Excellent review! After getting back into tarot this year I found myself attracted to historical techniques and ordered this off Amazon based on recommendations on the tarot subreddit. It looks like an excellent resource! Looking forward to digging into it tomorrow.

Thanks for this review. I think Bare Bones by Vincent Pitisci is possibly the most comprehensive tome of a book -and the best value, you can get for reading Tarot de Marseilles. It’s thoroughly cross referenced, with even suggestions for what every single card can mean in every single position on the Celtic cross. That’s going some.

Thank you so much for this lovely walk through. I'm backing the second edition of this deck so wanted to see it in detail and you've done a great job. Just one thing though.....I have to take issue with your description of the mallard duck as very loving and respectful. I live on a boat and watch the mallards gang banging the females who they will attack en masse and hold her under water while they fight over her- it's absolutely brutal to watch and has turned me off male mallards completely! Sorry if that was TMI :( Maybe Canadian mallards are gentler than their UK counterparts...?

I could see the Empress and High Priestess switching cards. I love the artwork and might purchase it to restructure it as a project. Actually I had to stop watching because I couldn’t really understand the deck and focus.

Hi Claude! I miss your presence on TH-cam! I hope you are well! I recently purchased this and really wished I had seen this video before I did. I have the Heaven and Earth tarot (which is already a guilty pleasure) and decided to get this one as well but after my own flip through, I have to say this deck is rather shallow and some of the cards are downright corny (The Hanged Man). I loved hearing your honest opinion about this deck and hope to see you again soon! edit to add: what did you end up doing with your deck? I can't decide if I want to keep it to use some of the cards as glorified bookmarks (because some of these cards are really beautiful) or just put it in a pile with other decks I don't care for and sell them in a lot on ebay.

I backed this one too! I get the creator has been going through some shit but he has the product. he could post the decks one by one, but he just decided not to. Kickstarter meanwhile will do NOTHING. This is the second tarot deck scam I was victim to on KS. They just ignore you when you report the project. I thought this one might be OK because the creator has a history of creations on KS but nope! KS profits from these scams as well and does absolutely nothing.

I am a numerologist rather than a tarot reader but I joined the crows funding as I’m an artist and was really excited about an AI assisted deck. I adore the images - all of them

Your critique is a breath of fresh air. Thank you for being honest about what you like and don’t like. I believe I will get more from using actual Rune stones with another tarot deck than from this one. I have subscribed to your channel on the merit of this video, and your other one about being scammed by a Kickstarter project. Even before watching that video, I had decided to not back more projects. They are high risk ventures and can either not launch at all or take forever. I’m still waiting on one deck which I backed in June 2021. I doubt it will ever be printed.

Thank you for mentioning this. I have become anxious about Kickstarter projects and have decided to not back more. I will buy from Etsy as I have received all the decks that I have bought from there, however, now I basically buy mass market decks as the quality is usually as good, and sometimes better, than Indie decks. Also, Indie decks have become a huge stretch financially, which makes me question whether they’re worth it. Most decks are priced from $80 to $100 and then require an extra $50 to send them to me. I can’t justify that amount of money, when I can buy 3 or even 4 MM decks for the same amount. And these MM decks are wonderful, like the Global Fusion Intuitive Tarot from US Games. The guidebook is also fabulous. It cost me $43 (free Prime shipping from Amazon), ordered on 17 July and arrived today on 23 July. It will keep me happy for many a day. I’m almost at a point where it’s hard to justify buying any more decks.

I really like this deck but I worry about how thin this card stock is from what I heard … so I have a deviant moon tarot - I love the deck but if card stock is the same ( cards are super thin and won’t survive extensive use ) I would be upset as All Means Necessary is little bit more pricey.. As example deviant moon tarot card stock ( again I love the deck ) card stock in thinner than Llewelyn Witches Tarot or Every Day Witch Tarot. I hope it makes sense - so when I put those decks next to each other Deviant Moon Tarot is the lower pile. Can you advise about the card stock please ?

It’s not an excuse but looks like he went through some rough time but he hopes to get those decks send so fingers crossed 🤞🏼what is important here is how KickStarter handle situation and not support in the matter when someone face problem like this :/

I'm glad you warned us. I try to research creators as much as I can, before launch if possible. I have been avoiding first-timers who don''t seem to know what they are getting into and creators who have delivered very late on their previous projects. Some creators are simply not good business people, even if they are not scammers.

I’m so happy I found this and although it may not be a direct reading to me I really resonated with it. I’m a Hermit/Moon birth card and I am in the process of writing a novel, which I think has been due to a time of isolation and reflection which allowed me to find the world building for the story.
