so it only lasted 4 mags? so u took an untested gun to a game yikes all gearboxes can have defects expensive or cheap no one has a 100% issue free manufacturing thats why laws exist that guarantee protection and replacement or loss recovery in most countries

I stripped a piston on my buddys gun, but luckily i had a parts gearbox and gave him it, few weeks later stripped my spur gears, switch to 13:1 shs with metal teeth piston praying that nothing wrong happens

I'm new to teching, I did a similar motor swap like this. I have a JG blue in mine, I was doing a shim job and noticed the gears were screeching regardless of my shim job (I ran my motor with the stock gears). I then change my bevel gear to a JG and a lot of the noise went away. So I can concur that bevel gears have to match the teeth on the pinion
