Magnificent masterpease played in a magnificent way. I'm a musician myself and I've randomly camed across the video but wanted to say well done I'm trying to learn Fur Elise myself and I also use notes instead of youtube or hearing and I admire that.

Wonderful! I first heard “The Entertainer” while watching the 1973 movie “The Sting”, in a theater, when I was 15 years old. I enjoyed it then, and now. Scott Joplin and Ragtime had been forgotten by 1973 with the people who remembered it then in their 70’s and 80’s. The movie made the music popular again and Joplin more widely known then during his lifetime. Though, the music did not fit the time period of the movie, which was 1936, it did not matter, it sounded like it belonged . I guess Ragtime was popular around 1900’s, 1910’s. Thanks to you I will watch the movie again. That is what a really good pianist can do; bring back pleasant memories for those that listen to them and make them want to learn more about the music.
