Dr,Sab I live in Toronto Canada, about a year ago I notice , flash in my right eye,but I was ignoring, and thought probably Ian getting cataracts.but I thought since I gave no problem in driving ,did not bother to check it out,one day during the driving ,I cover my right eye ,did not notice any problem,than I cover my left eye,I was shocked,I hardly could see infront of me,u repeat the same method ,it's scared the hell out of me,I turned around and went straight to one of the hospital emergency ,I explained to the front desk,they took me to the room called the opthalmologist, he took me to the check up room he told me,your retina is detached, than I explained about flashing in my right eye,he said you came too late,still I went for emergency surgery,,they insert lens in that eye,but because if my carelessness I lost 70 percent vision in that eye.the reason I did not notice there is no vision in my right eye, because my left eye was compensating ,so my suggestion to any one who see flashing it lighting in the eye ,must check it out.,with qualified doctor,other wise you can be blind,retina is very important.part of your eye .
