Oh WOW! grats on nearing the completion... re: the nose... the metal remembers ;-) Love your spaces... Have a good couple weeks!
Hi Mike thanks for the nice comments I’m starting to fit the bonnet and it’s not as good of shape as I thought it would be so I’m going to look for another. So it looks like I’m going to need a raised hinge bonnet if you know of one please contact me
3A is coming along nicely!
Beautiful Corvette!
Thanks I can’t believe I’ve been out of that long time sure flies
At it that long
Enjoying the videos. We're restoring a tr3 as well. Did you have any problems removing the doors? Not sure how I'm going to remove the flat head bolts without destroying them. Thanks. Keep up the great work
For me it wasn’t that hard just took a large screwdriver and hit it a couple times on the end to break it loose
@bobbeiler8453 cool I'll give that a whirl thank you. 😎👍
Great work - enjoy you’re progress !
Great job
can't learn without getting over your ski tips once in a while... good recovery ;-)
Nice work !
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you! Cheers!
Great work! Inspiration for the coming months.
Awesome! Thank you!
Looking good Bob.
Thanks your videos have been helpful to me
Awesome. You are so quick with your bodywork So good to see things moving along. Mike
Thanks a lot. Still learning as I go can’t wait to see your next bodywork videos
@@bobbeiler8453 me too! I hope to get back to it in a month or two
“It’s not perfect” - **goes on to show superb bodywork restorations** 😂
Looking great, an inspiration for the body work that I have coming up. Keep it up Bob!
that turned out terrific! nicely done ;-)
Thanks MIKE how long did you spend on your bodywork I know you had a lot more fabrication to do than I did
@@bobbeiler8453 hi Bob… you make it sound like I am done. Once i finish my front fender fabrication i will be mostly done with the passenger side. The i will move ti the drivers side. You seem to move a lot faster than I do so take that into consideration. It took me 1.5 years or so for the rear and the DS. Once I flip the car around and start working on the DS i figure it will take me a good 6 months. So i figure 2 years with a lot of learning how to in the process to do from firewall back. I may have to remake boot lid so not counting that. Starting so rusty really taught me a lot of stuff but at the expense of time. I have enjoyed stepping away from bodywork to the drivetrain these last 6 months. I love seeing your progress. Its like taking one of my videos and hitting the speed forward button 😝
I give you A+
Thanks LINDA it’s been tough going but I’m slowly getting there thanks for the encouragement
Impressive progress!
Nice video Bob !!!.....wow, cant believe all the work you put in!...I love it
@@Art-inventions Thanks it’s a labor of love
Coming along really nicely!
@@RCBeiler Thanks RC and thanks for the help
Looking great Bob.
Thanks Cheftush coming from the Master that means a lot !
Very nice work Bob !
Thanks for the update Bob!
Thanks MIKE I’ve been checking out your channel also
Looking great. I could use that small mouth apron, lol.
I won’t be using that small mouth so it’s probably gonna be for sale
Curious about how you built the flange for the front wing. Did you make out of one piece of metal shrinking and stretching or fabricate from several pieces.
Looks like its coming along well!
Suggest to close up the front door gap dress 1.0mm off one half of the hingein a mill. Or compress the closed up hinge in vice reduce the overall thickness.
Impressive work. Your car is looking great. Testament to your hard work and developing skills.
Nice work. Thoughtful process. I think I replaced 33 nuts and cages on my car and tightened every cage up a little so the nuts wouldn't spin. Also chased all original nuts with a tap and added anti-seeze during assembly. Thanks for sharing your videos.
Nice phone booth - also nice work on fixing the dents !
Smooth metalwork there with the hammer and dolly. Natural talent! Would love to see some of that handywork being done in a video, as I am about to start on the rear valance which has a serious dent and tear in it.
I’m glad I found this. It’s a work of art in progress.
Great job there young man. Sadly, our telephone boxes are no longer of that design. In fact, the mobile has basically confined the public telephone to the history bin. Not sure when red telephone boxes stopped being made, probably when the General Post Office (G.P.O) was sold off? There are still some in service and they can be bought from various places too. Top regards from the UK!
Thank you, I am learning so much and trying my best thanks for the support. my wife will be happy with the telephone booth compliment.
Looking great Bob. Love the phone booth 😉
Thanks for the compliment! I really like watching your channel as well it is very informative.
People always run into unexpected problems when restoring... but... the floorpans welded to the frame?? Man.
Did you sand your car or have it sandblasted?
I sandblasted it
Thanks for the update Bob... sometimes you gotta take a break from the trouble areas. I think its a good idea to cut out that rear section and then refit... Looking forward to it. Also... great space!
Thanks Mike maybe you can get to stop in next time you’re in Florida
@@bobbeiler8453 sure thing… ill be sure to bring you a new door skin when i do 😜
Nicely done! Wide angle camera shots!
Thanks a lot!
Nice addition to the garage. Are you going with the small mouth or the large mouth? I see both up on the shelf.
It’s a 1960s so I will be putting the large mouth on this car
I really enjoy your videos I’ve been watching them for a long time
@@bobbeiler8453 thanks for the kind words. I hope to get working back on my 1959 soon.
too bad you aren't closer to Alaska (you cant get much further 🤣) I have a few very nice doors .
Maybe one day!
That new addition is looking really nice!
Thanks! I really felt like I needed to put that addition on so much nicer working in the shop now
Nice!

thanks Bob. Never heard of this technique. We have a TR2 we have owned since 1967 and it needs work like this. John in Manitoba.
The car that started my interest in Triumph sports cars. Love it.
