Wrong, casting blame in the wrong direction, you are obviously not a pilot.

Incorrect , he was disorganized from the start , maybe a novice pilot or someone who is low time and or hasn’t flown in a long time to keep proficiency, who was not communicating effectively. He should have got out at least one mayday or any indication he was having trouble as soon as it was apparent. The tower controller would have totally flipped a switch and dealt with the situation differently. Having said that the controller could have shortened is transmissions and been more concise and direct during the confusion with the aircraft’s intentions

What should the controller have done differently?

I was replying to the op. I was stating I didn’t think the controller did anything wrong , other than could have realized the pilot was novice or inexperienced or at least not current…. Im a career pilot for 18 years. Regardless, its sad for all involved

@@user-il6ei6vl3oyou cannot put out a petroleum fire with water. It floats on water. The plane was filled before takeoff. You have to wait for it to burn out. If you listen to the audio they clearly state they are waiting until the fire is “ready” for water. Firefighters are trained. You aren’t.

The plane hit electrical lines and it’s a plane so there’s fuel involved. Both are types of fires which cannot be controlled initially with water. They are working primarily to rescue lives and then make the site safe to the use water when it’s safe to proceed, as evidenced by the audio. They know what they’re doing. You don’t, obviously.

@@eriksand9262 well to me a fire alarm is meant to tell you there's fire and you need to get out. Not sure why we would use the word alarm for any other definition.

To simplify: That is because the fire alarm or bell goes off at the fire station alerting the FF's. If your house caught fire, under normal conditions and structure size, 911 would send 3-4 engines, a ladder truck, a rescue and a Chief to run the event. With that being said, every "alarm" after that multiples that complement or number of fire apparatus by the alarm #. Example: 5 alarm fire is about 20 fire engines, 5 ladder trucks, several chief officers and other supporting Fire apparatus. The term "alarm" actually goes way back to when they used the red "Fire" boxes posted all around streets as a way for people to notify the FD. Those are pretty much antiques now. They were mostly seen in bigger cites like NY, Boston, Chicago. Hope that helps!

Many people seen on TH-cam can synchronize all 3 components if you remove them and send them in or get lucky with a locksmith, only 1 I know is in Dallas.

@@MRSIN187 I just went through replacing motor in ESL on w204. But I was looking on ebay and there are few sellers. Look for Luxe Electrical they seem to have excellent reviews on Yelp not just ebay since its actual shop but they charge 300$. Cheapest for w204 one is 166$ on ebay and has few positive reviews. Otherwise there is seller in Texas and Canada that has been confirmed via mbworld forum.

Just be sure the steering lock is unlocked, or remove it entirely. Don't want to risk the damn thing ever locking while driving down the road. Not that it could, but better safe that sorry! Naturally, if locked, you ain't going to steer it anyway!

@@58fins yeah I just connected it to side of steering column with zip ties lol that way even if it locks my steering wheel will not be locked I just made sure its out of the way and secure, I added some closed cell foam to prevent any vibrations as well
