I have Lowridet ST El Diablo and i want to keep my front fender. I have forward controls. You say crash may not clear at full travel. I wonder how often or actually when it happens to reach full travel on suspension ? I realy like the crashbars ....
If you keep your stock front fender, it’s almost certain it will make contact at full suspension travel. You could improve the situation by upgrading the suspension, which reduces the risk, but it doesn’t eliminate it entirely. To be 100% safe, you have two options: either shorten your stock front fender or switch to our custom fender designed to avoid this issue.
What's the best way to tell what size risers you should have? It seems like a forgotten science. I definitely want some rise and pull back on my ST
Since everyone has a different physiognomy, there is no simple formula. The best way is to ask someone to help you: sit on the bike and extend your arms in front of you, your hands should be approximately at shoulder height. Ask the person to measure the distance between the top tree of your bike and your hands. You now have the total height needed for a comfortable setup. From there, we can choose the right riser and bar for you.

On a 2019 forty eight xl1200xs, for the front turn signal, i need to add wiring to make the white leds on when i travel?
For American models, there's no need to change any wiring or connectors-it uses a 1157 socket (dual-function) that works with our front flashers. European models, however, use a 1156 socket, which only supports a single function, so our flashers won’t work. If that’s the case, he’ll need to get American-style flasher housings with the correct wiring to fit the 1157 socket.

Our rear crash bars for M8 Softails are specifically designed to protect the OEM bags on your FXLRST. They may not provide the same level of coverage for aftermarket bags like the larger Advanblack ones.

Any tips on reducing buffeting? I've tried both windshields and its still unbearable
Many things can affect buffeting, such as: The type of helmet, the seat position, your height the speed you're going, and many more. But if we stay in the fairing lane, the windscreen is adjustable in angle with our adjustable windshield arms. We usually recommend starting with the windscreen pushed all the way forward and making your way back until you find the perfect windscreen angle. Will the mounting brackets work on a Softail Slim?

What about the bottom Triple tree?
It's on our list, but we don't have any time frame for now.
On torquing the stem nut u can use a 1/4 extension and go from the bottom of the tree and LOOSEN it to tighten it unless ur bottom tree doesn’t use the same stem that allows the 1/4 inch end

Will I need any cable extensions if I’m running stock cables with your 6.5 OG risers on an FXLRST?
It depends on the bar you choose for your setup: With an ODI Tracker Bar, no extensions would be needed. With an ODI Moto Bar (or an OEM bar) you can keep the OEM cables if the controls connector caddy located in the frame is removed.
Will the high bar fit an FXLRST with forward controls?
It will not fit the FXLRS & FXLRST with Forward Controls without suspension work or our Shorty Fender kit. The Crash Bar may not clear at full travel.
I wish this was available few months back, went with Kraus pullback plate, but this would have been even better.
What’s the torque spec for the rider bolt in the bottom?
Torque the riser’s bolt (1/2”-13) to: 30 ft-lbs. This torque can be adjusted to rider’s preferences. If you are using polyurethane bushing, the more torque you apply, the stiffer the risers will be. I have Dean speeds mini floor boards but it prevents my foot from getting under the shifter peg. I had to adjust the angle to almost fully flat so I can upshift. But in turn it made rest my foot not exactly comfortable since my heel rests at an angle and not flat. I wonder if this issue is solved with these ?

Not for the 41mm, but we're planning on a 2013 down Tree with a 49mm or inverted conversion.

will Cadillac wheels and wheel mounts work on your crash bars?
If i refer to their website, they say it fits most other brands as well with a 1/2-13 thread. And our bar sliders are mounted with 1/2-13 bolt pattern, so it should work.

So it sounds like the intent here for this product is really for people that are more or less happy with the stock height of the LRS / LRST but don’t want to be stretched out to reach them, correct? Retains stock height + .75” but pushes bars back 3”?
