2024 Litter Update
In this video we take a look at a boa litter born in May 2024. The sire was my Motley, Hypo, Jungle, 100% het Kahl Albino pair with my Hypo Aztec. We take a look at the babies and I share what i believe their morphs are.

Super cool boas bro 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you. Very much appreciated!
Excellent video and top notch litter. Hypo, to me, is probably the most overlooked morph. Before I knew what a morph was, I bought a Hypo male because he just looked so different from any Boa I had seen at the time. He just turned 11, and still stands out among all of my Boas. His babies also exhibit features I still am not quite sure identifying, including his paradoxing. Just amazing. So it is great to see you working with Hypo. Your litter and their parents are all outstanding.
@@kumetu thank you. Very much appreciated. That litter was a first time breeding for both parents. I have a couple more hypos paired up for this season
@JaysCrypticCreatures-oq2lg I am mindful the litter is successful and both parents come out in full health after. I look forward to seeing their babies..
WOW gamba ang lake 😮😮🤯
Thank you!
So cool!
@@mikeace21 still amazes me every time
I like the moss in your enclosures it adds beauty to it
@@TheOwl641 thank you very much
That’s cool never seen that before congrats
@@dannyphantom8469 thank you. It’s wild isn’t it.
it is I always thought that they burst out like chest burstser from alien because I’ve only ever seen the molt and thought they did it all quick like but it turns out they need quite a bit of time who knew 🫠
I just received a 5cm female Hamorii, literally the next day she bricked up the front of her hide 😫 Probably won’t see her again now until like February or something lol
😂oh man. I think you’re right. Once the “do not disturb” door goes up, it could be awhile. Especially with that genus. Sounds like you need to pick up another tarantula while you wait for her to reemerge 😂
@@JaysCrypticCreatures-oq2lg yeah ive been unsure on wether to attempt to feed her but im afraid the cricket will go inside her burrow and stress her out Exactly as you say, the way i is see it is, its do-not-disturb sign, so i think im just best waiting for her to reappear in her own time I’m way ahead of you bro, I’ve bought like 2 or 3 more since then 😂 Great video bro, I could really relate to a lot of things you mentioned
@@gallantpioneer8523 in my experience, I’d let her be. If the burrow is sealed she’s likely in premolt. If she is just settling in the burrow will open and you’ll see her out and about. If she is in premolt she could be gone for quite awhile. Don’t feed and don’t stress. When her molt is complete she’ll open the door and come out when she’s ready to get. Do worry, that genus can go into premolt and not eat for a long time. My girl once went 6 months without eating
@ that’s great advice , thank you bro i appreciate that, it helps reassure me With her being a Brachypelma and there famous slow growth rate, it wouldn’t even surprise me if she reappeared in 6 months and hasn’t even molted 😆 just wanted some chill time
@ 😂that could very well happen 😂
Can't wait for the arboreal list. L. parahybana is my favorite from your list, sadly I dont have space for my other fave A. geniculata.
Thank you for sharing. I really like my LP. Quite underrated in my opinion. I am really enjoying growing up the A. geniculata. I can’t wait until she reaches full size. Keep an eye out for the arboreal video 😉
Love gbbs just received a juvenile gbb and fits in well with all my old worlds
Thank you. I agree, love GBBs. They are a great bridge between new and old worlds. Beautiful colors and really fun watching the slings mature.
Great video my friend and new subscriber
Bought a Mexican Red Knee a year ago and absolutely love everything about her. Got an Avic Avic a month ago, and I’m blown away by how differently they act. I don’t find myself falling in love with the Avic as much, but I know I’ll learn to love her unique idiosyncrasies in time.
@@joshlaclair2569 that’s awesome! The Brachypelma genus has a bunch of awesome species. If you like them, you might want to check out the Lasiodora or Phormictopus genus. They have pretty cool species as well. I also have an Avic as well, you are correct they are way different. Isn’t that part of fun of tarantula keeping each species and specimen can act so differently. Thanks for sharing
Nice one!
@@korkron3102 thank you. Very much appreciated
The really bad thing is all my Ts prefer crickets!! Only a few will take mealworms or dubias!! They smell and they freakin chirp all the time!!
@@jenshelley4737 oh man I feel for you. They do make good feeders, but that smell is the terrible. Oh yeah and the escapes too.
Super cool boas bro great pairings 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank man. I got my fingers crossed for a good season
When I got into morphs the moonglow was the 1st one after my Kahl Albino. Then I had to get an IMG.
@@dirtiestbird2 awesome! They are so awesome looking. I don’t have an IMG yet but it’s on my list.

@@ronaldgeduque3638 my thoughts exactly
Hey, are these aztecs considered a dwarf species? Thanks
@@dbusinessmd they are not, and at least I wouldn’t consider them a dwarf. My biggest girl is over 6-1/2ft and pretty thick. I would consider a blood morph more dwarf or if your looking for some more of a locale I would go with a Caulker Cay
@@JaysCrypticCreatures-oq2lg actually am not I prefer bigger boas and staying away from dwarf species. I appreciate your response as there is not a lot of info on aztecs out there
@@dbusinessmd absolutely, not a problem at all. I Iike the larger boas as well. I have one more baby from her litter earlier this year if you’re interested and located in the US.

Maybe I can help: Ybyrapora diversipes ( ibi-rapora i as in India, diver-sipes the second e is accentuated, i is the same as in genus name ). I like your tarantula so much, best luck with her.
Thank you so much! I am usually not too bad with the Latin names but I struggled with this one. I appreciate the help. Thank you.

My boy just passed the other night. He decided to stop eating after his final molt. All he did was scale his enclosure day in and day out and refused any meal I offered. Sucks that males don't live as long as females. Oh yeah, btw.... ALL HAIL THE KING!!!!!! 🤘
