Depends on focal length, distance and focus.
I'm amazed at the quality this little sensor is putting out. This looks better than more expensive camcorders with 1" sensors. How can this be? 😅
I am still very satisfied with the HC-X1500
Ich habe selbst eien DJI Mini 3 Pro und würde gerne wissen, ob man im Wald besondere Einstellungen benutzen sollte. Ich vermute, dass die GPS-Abdeckung um Wald gestört sein kann. In wie weit wirkt sich das auf die Stabilität des Fluges und die Sicherheit der Drohne aus, da GPS ja für die Stabilisierung benutzt wird. Für Infos wäre ich dankbar!
Hallo Stefan, für die Aufnahmen im Wald verwende ich die Einstellung CINEMOD. Beim Fliegen auf Abstand seitlich und oben achten.

👍 Schöne Aufnahmen Christian. Anstelle meiner Mavic Air 2 würde mir die Mini 3 mit den zus. Funktionen auch reichen.
Jetzt hast Du Dir ja echt die kleine Mini 3 pro zugelegt 👍🏻😉 schönes Video 👏 finde v.a. den geneigten Kamerawinkel nach oben eine tolle neue Eigenschaft. Die Qualität der kleinen Cam ist schon bemerkenswert, ideal für Urlaube 😉

Is it possible to control more things with the ring during recording? For example, zoom, click-through, exposure, aperture, or sound level when recording via the 3.5 jack? Or can only one option be assigned to the ring and the ring cannot be used for another during recording? Thank you for your response
Both rings can only execute the assigned options. Additional functions can be controlled via the multi-controller. Operating instructions also in English www.panasonic.eu/downloads/de_DE/popup.html Best regards
@@knoxHD1 I read the instructions but it wasn't clear to me. I would like to assign various functions to the ring during the recording, so that I always change something different.
@@McDjMagicAndrey This is only possible with the small multifunction wheel!
@@knoxHD1 So I can assign a zoom function to the second ring on the lens, for example, and so it will remain until I assign something else in the menu. It can no longer be changed. During recording, however, the multifunction dial can change various functions, such as exposure compensation after clicking the AE button and can be changed with a small selector, then click on IRIS and change the aperture, click on GAIN to change the gain. Is it possible to change the volume of the sound from the external microphone via the 3.5 input during recording? According to the instructions, I can see that F1 and F6 are shown at the top of the display and I also don't know what else can be assigned to the USER buttons than what is already set there from the factory. Is there still a function that is not assigned and assigned an idea - something that would be useful or necessary to use? Probably it would be best to make a video where it would show how to change the aperture, zoom, AE, gain, shutter, white balance and sound from the 3.5 jack microphone ...
Thanks for posting your samples. Question about the X1500: Do the zoom and focus rings turn freely forever or do they have physical limits that prevent you from turning them any further? I'd like to put an X1500 on a gimbal with a follow focus motor and I'm curious if the motor will have enough power to turn the rings (assuming I install a gear). Thanks!
The zoom and focus ring always rotate freely on the X1500.

Sehr schöne Bilder. Danke für die beiden Videos. Endlich aussagefähige Footage aus der Praxis zur Panasonic HC-X1500. Trage mich schon länger mit der Absicht, einen solchen Camcorder zu kaufen. Konnte mich bisher nicht dazu entschließen, weil ich Bedenken wegen des kleinen Sensors habe. Filme derzeit mit der Lumix GH5. Sind meine Bedenken berechtigt? ;-) Würde mich über Deine Meinung freuen. Schöne Grüße Norbert
Hallo Norbert, auch wenn die Bedingung teilweise etwas fummelig ist, würde ich die Kamera für meinen Zweck (Naturfilm) sofort wieder kaufen. Beste Grüße Georg

Very nice! I have seen some other footage from this camera that suggests that the image is soft close the left and right edges when in wide-angle. Have you had that experience?
I was also able to determine the edge blurring in the wide-angle range, but only when I switch on the image stabilizer with the camera stationary. But that's actually normal.

knoxHD1 I have tried this with my Sony NX70 and I do not see any difference with stabilisation in or off in HD. The wide angle is similar to the Panasonic. Maybe 4K would be different. Thank you for sharing your insights. I am very interested in this camera.
No this is not true. I've just done this test with my HC-X2000, which is the same camera but with SDI out socket. IOS on/off makes no difference. It's much more pronounced on this camera than the 1" sensor HX1. It's irritating that unless you're zoomed in it seems impossible to get an acceptable range of crisp focus across the whole frame, in any light or aperture! It seems to be astigmatism in the lens at wide angle and doesn't look great! I'm actually considering sending the camera back because of it. I'm hoping it's just faulty, but seeing footage shot by others it seems they are all like this. @@knoxHD1
Hey do you know of Derek Hilton? He's an Australian who films wildlife and has been experimenting for a while with different cameras. You guys would seem to have a lot in common. Regarding the izoom I am guessing you used it a 2:28 as it was a little soft at that point? Then after that it goes back to nice and sharp images. How do you find the izoom that takes the camera beyond x24? Was it used in this video?
turn camera on press menu button on side on screen select camera select SWMode use down arrow to find iZOOM. touch iZOom select "on" exit hit the physical menu button to get back to home screen. I just got mine and will shortly submit a side by side comparison with my Sony RX-10iv. But right now I can say

Hallo Christian, die Kamera ist unmittelbar nach dem Einschalten startklar. Die letzte Zoom Einstellung bleibt erhalten. Lediglich bei das schreiben auf die Speicherkarte in höchster Auflösung 4.2.2 50p 10 Bit dauert ein ca.2 Sec.
knoxHD1 Das klingt gut! Ist die Fernsteuerung per App vom Smartphone aus auch in Teilen möglich (z. B. Aufnahme Start/Stopp, Belichtung, Zoom, Audiopegel)?

Всё зависит от сферы применения. Я использую и GH5/GH5s и камеру (DVX200). Сложно судить о качестве картинки по нескольким тестам, но приимущество камеры по отношению к фотопаппарату: не нужно с собой таскать несколько объективов, встроенные фильтры, встроенный аудио блок у HC-X 2000, удобная эргономика для работы с видео, плавный зум, у этой камеры есть возможность стриминга. Судя по рекламе у нее хороший автофокус по лицу. НО. При съемке в условиях низкой освещенности она не сравнится с GH5s. По опыту могу сказать, что в серии GH5 точнее можно установить баланс белого в условиях смешанного освещения, чем на камере, которую я использую. Не знаю, как обстоит с этой. Она уже другого поколения.

Sehr schöne Luftaufnahmen von einer beeindruckenden Landschaft. Mußte mir das Video gleich zweimal ansehen, so gut hat es mir gefallen. Die ruhigen Aufnahmen, passend zur Musik geschnitten, ergeben ein ansprechendes Gesamtwerk. Auch die Bildqualität, obwohl nur HD, finde ich hervorragend.

Did you shoot this in a flat mode and were a couple of clips with digital zoom? Also, when shooting at the wides angle, have you noticed a softness at the edges of the frame?
