You are completely right. I don't think the premier league is necessarily too much for him, i think it is United. His spendings were indeed awful, that is one of his biggest problems.. at Akax he bought some former players aswel, they all flopped. The magic at Ajax was his cooperation with Overmars. I think ten Hag needs someone that guides him transfer wise. But we will see what's going to happen this summer!

To be honest, i don't think anyone is good enough. Some analysts are talking about Geertruida and/or Hancko. 2 centerbacks that both can play as a wingback aswel. They are okay, but not the level Liverpool should aim for.

Yes and no.. with younger players he did it before, but it is easier to dissapoint a young player. But Feyenoord's striker Giminez was their star player at the beginning of the season, scoring a lot of goals. But the last 12 games Gimenez almost didn't score, and also was a ghost, didn't participate in their possession as well. But Slot let him play every single game, even tough other players deserved a chance at the striker position. So i don't know if he will hold his star players accountable..

Depends how long it will take to them to adapt to his playstyle, counter attacks are unavoidble, but you can reduce them with the right way of pressing (no overcommitment). Time will tell. Next week i will upload a video about ten Hag, explaining why when he was manager at Ajax, Ajax was one of the best teams of Europe, and the reason why it's not working at United. The same thing could happen to Arne Slot, but i hope not:)

Maybe i expressed it a bit wrong, his communication is good, his players love him. BUT most of them are young players, usually in their first years of professional football. In my opinion, players with big status, like Salah, a macAllistar that won the worldcup, all the other players that won the Champions League, why would they look up to him? He is a nobody compared to him. You see it quite often, when a manager comes from a smaller team, and the result are getting bad, they loose authority. - Garnacho liking a offensive post about Ten Hag - Graham Potter getting fired after a couple of months - Nuno Santo getting fired after a couple of months(Tottenham) I know you shouldn't judge someone by their looks, but he looks a bit like a softy to me, also when he is angry. Nothing wrong with that, but when you need to keep 25 full of testosteron alpha males together, you need to have some type of authority to keep them team together. But this is my opinion. After all i think he will succeed, he will find a way to fix his shortcomings.

However we still respect & recognise Dutch football ethos style of play & legendary players/ teams. So I want to believe in Slot I want him to instill the Dutch footballing philosophy.

@@jzazf6207 Thanks mate! The reason why most dutch managers fail, is because they are to stubborn, they only have a plan A (following the Dutch school/Johan Cruyff philosophy) but they are lacking a plan B. Slot always has a plan B, even a plan C. So i have high hopes for him!
