I will take every single Brit back in the EU with love!! Don't be shy - we are all ONE!
❤
EU flag been placed there. Disgraceful!
Disgraceful too see the EU flag!
The eu flags are the ones I dislike.
Singing Rule Britannia whilst waving the EU Facist Flag Classy bunch of Toffy nosed muppets 😂😂😂😂
There is a time and place for arguing over Brexit and the Last Night of the Proms is not it. Leave politics aside and rejoice that your proud to be British and wave only the UNION JACK !!!!!
Get over it, you lossed all those eu flags you can wipe your tears or your arse😅😅😅😅😅
Top
Compare to 1979 when young gun students could afford the tickets in the pit and wave the Union flag with gusto....the same people are still in the pitt as middle aged managers on 100k who have lost their voice, who can not jump, who can not wave a (wrong) flag, handed to them on the way in, too much lest they suffer an injury. Bring back home made banners, quirky hats, teddy bears and so on. Liverpool's kop has gone as much the same way.
Why the EU flags ? Well at least there was no ruzzian music played !
Superb
Oh ok so the bbc was giving away free EU flags on entry is tthis so the government thinks that the people want back into the eu typical bbc anti British
Omg was there some sort of protest going on with all the Eu flags they should be banned there not a national flag it should only be the Union flag and commonwealth flags
How long before this is lost
This is my favourite piece of classical music
Load of Woke shite
Not the best this year 2024. Very poor lighting it was like something out of Disney world
I was playing in the orchestra on Saturday, it was a lovely night. I thought that it was incredibly unifying to see lots of different flags because to me that is what music is about. That shared ethos at a concert, of everyone in that room listening and experiencing it in their own way is quite unique. Most people on the stage at the Proms over the summer and the music played at them including the last night were from all around the world including European countries. Not to forget the European great composers featured, like Bruckner, Wagner and Faure, Ravel, Saint Saens etc throughout the season. I believe the EU flags symbolises that unity of music and the traveling nature of musicians/ shared culture which has unfortunately been a huge challenge since we left the Union (particularly on the touring front). I do believe though that we will find a solution to enable the movement of touring musicians to continue sharing music all over the globe but particularly touring Europe, showing our great British orchestras, this really does need to be addressed which is what various groups like the musicians union are campaigning for! However at the Proms, I do believe it’s wonderful to see lot’s of different flags as to me the sharing and cohesive nature of listening to music, is what the Proms are all about! Not to mention the fantastic promenading ticket cost of £8.50, which is how some family and friends attended various gigs over the summer.

Music was awesome 👌 but the eu flag bearers are trying to make a statement in a great Britain show

Last night of the proms. Far too high brow for brexiters. They'll have been 'down the pub' drinking French beer (Stella).
Yep thats better than singing in a hall full of Jimmy Saville Nonses like you prick...
Good night, shame it was hijacked by the extreme left remoaners, backed by the blantey biased corporation
The butt hurt from the brexitards on here is hilarious. Heaven forbid they should have to entertain the idea anybody could be patriotic and pro EU at the same time😂

Embarrassing seeing people fly the EU flag. Honestly, if you hate this country or want to fly another flag then go elsewhere. Just let people enjoy a bloody night celebrating Britishness and not dragging politics into it.
Get stuffed. Nobody hates this country. You made it political when you and your cohorts dragged us out when the tide had already turned in favour of staying.
So you don't think the Union flag is political. You obviously have never studied history!
@@stevenknill2179 every flag is political if you choose to view it that way! It’s a sad life people must lead if they feel the need to belittle and shame others who simply want to enjoy themselves for a few hours and be proud of their country. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
@@portman2396 The European Union 🇪🇺 in my opinion does not belittle our country it enhanced our lives and our country.

Who's the idiot waving the union flag upside down?
It was as always a wonderful spectacle and it was even better to show the world that most of us are European at heart.
Disgusting EU Flags more than the Union Jack's it's just a load of toffs getting on one better it was cancelled...
My young grandchildren sat up and watched. It’s the first time they had heard an opera singer. It’s a wonderful celebration of music and not one which commercial tv would be interested in. Much better than x factor et al! Thank goodness the BBC has to represent all of GB, not just the commercially viable.
Rubbish just a remoner advert
Though beastly brexiteers flinch and brexit blockheads sneer lets keep the EU flag flying here. Lets get Brexit undone.
How disappointing to see the mentally ill remainers there.
The BBC had Daffyd presenting.
At one point during the live show, the BBC presenter - Jane Someone said "the LNOTP never fails to disappoint..."... brilliant.
I'm glad someone else spotted that.
Yes I had a good laugh at that too.

It has lost it's soul with the flags becoming more important than the music.... BAN the EU flags and any other flag besides the Union Jack!
Winston Churchill is a founder member of the European Union 🇪🇺. Freedom is what it represents!
It strikes me as not only childish, but mean and spiteful to want to hijack an event traditionally intended to celebrate Britain to deluge the event with the flag of a foreign power to make a political point.
People should be free to fly any flag they want. That is the whole point supposedly that Brexiteers are always going on about: how free this country is.

Clearly the BBC promises are worthless as usual, they were complicit in allowing the last night to be used by political activists waving EU flags.
You can literally explain the Brexit Referendum to someone by using this video and the type of person that is able to afford a ticket to the last night of the Proms.
@@wattbenj I’m a postman and I could afford it

Embarrassing to see all those EU flags being waved when the last night at the proms are there to celebrate Britishness. So to all you folk waving the blue flags, perhaps you should attend the great EU music celebration in future
Grow up.... It is commonly known that most British people want to be back in the EU. Waving the EU flag doesn't mean they're any less British. They just want what's best for the country.
