Mau Mau Warriors of Kenya
มุมมอง 1921 วันที่ผ่านมา
One of the most powerful and overlooked struggles for freedom in Africa’s history: the Mau Mau Uprising in Kenya, East Africa. A fight for land, dignity, and liberation from British colonial rule. 🌍✊🏿 Their courage played a pivotal role in Kenya's journey to independence. Let's remember and honor those who stood up for their rights, even in the face of brutal repression. #BlackHistoryMonth #Mau...
How Uganda didn't become Israel

How East Africa didn’t become Israel… it’s scary to think what my homeland could have looked like if these events went differently… it’s the audacity and pattern of colonisers taking what’s not theirs - in the name of religion, ‘civilisation’, race, money, whatever. Which is why I stand with Palestine. None of us are free until all of us are free. #BlackHistoryMonth #Ugandahistory #KenyaHistory...

Hello my Friend. You notoced? I noticed. It matters! British Sugar? Sugar Tax? Cannabis? Billions! Monopoly. Plain & Simple. We need our people. Sister you are loved. You country loves you. I have friends from all walks, from the street to higher the Grandmaster. And I am higher. Nigel is our Man. He is a me. I am. Jesus didn't know God's Truth. Only Dead Man's final wishes. Can't save. A Christian Maniac murdered millions of my people, Hardworking People! Put them through Horror first! Then he lumped them in a Room and poisoned them, with Gas. Jesus was nowhere. Noplace. He lied. And I am the messenger. I have the First Truth. I am. © theFuzzmaker © GNG

Subscribed. Been following your sister ‘Sheeba’Totally going to follow. Am ugandan born and grew up in Tanzania then moved to UK. Then Netherlands and currently living in Hungary.. You are tottally going to fight hard against ‘objectification’…good job you are thinking ahead. Uganda in my experience and a complete East African and Diasporan is most ‘objectifying of all 4 countries.. Am of Rwandan Roots, born in Uganda and grew up in Kenya and Tanzania before moving to UK aged 21..39 yrs ago. Tanzania is my favourite if all 4
Thank you for the subscribe! Wow, you're so well travelled! Glad TZ is your favourite hehe - how is living in Hungary? Everytime i've visited Netherlands, I've loved it but I have no experience of Hungary!
@@DrJessicaKatanga oooh you replied. This city called Pécs is a university city so it has a perfect vibe. We love it 6 months in. This time last year were comparing it to other possible choices including East Africa but this one won. It has enough modernity and layed-backness.. Lots of international students which means the locals see it positive and will assume one is training to be a doctor, nurse or engineer. Unlike people asking me over the years when visiting a scandinavian land if i like my asylum centre🤣 We cycle here and love checking out the other cities. Netherlands was home for 22 yrs but hubby is from Leiden which too is a university city twin once with Oxford. Over 400+ years old. Yes there is nothing to dislike when visiting NL and its one of our homes. Our two kids are still there and were instrumental in helping us choose our home/ their old folks home. One is in UK whose the one that linked me to Margie/Sheeba. I follow her for a bit and think the world of her teaching and intelligence. I saw your dad contributed to computers for africa!! Hongera you all for living as best your life as you can. So we absolutely love our new chosen retirement home and are trying the lingo. Hubby is experiencing being an emigrant with me and am showing him the ropes as best as i can being a serial migrator🤗🤣🤣am of rwanda roots though born in uganda and speak mother tongue still and all the bantu lingos of central and western Uganda so understand Kihaya perfectly too. Keep away from mozzie bites. Malaria is a joy snatcher illness. Having left in 1985, my last bout was 1983! Whenever am back i smear with citronella and hide in nets. You can smell me a mile and long sleeves trousers at dusk.. Let me not make it a podcast🤣🤣🤣
Proud of you Dr Jessica Katanga ❤🎉😅 can’t wait to see the road ahead !
thank you!
So amazing… so needed for the moms in Uganda.wish you only the best in your new journey. I’m a midwife ,trained in the UK but working in the US,born and bred in Uganda. My dream is to set up a clinic in Uganda…some day.❤
oh wow, you're a midwife! such an amazing and important job, I bet you make all the new mums feel so at ease. In your opinion is midwifery better in UK or US? That is an amazing goal - I'm confident you will open that clinic some day x
@@olivekintu384 ooh Olive. Hope you realise your dream. Our people need our people
@@DrJessicaKatanga @ Olivekintu talking about differences in maternal care I had both my first sons in KingsCollege Cumberwell and my last child a daughter in Netherlands. Tottaly laid back that i felt kinda insecure.. but in the end i appreciated the balance they had in minimal intervention and mother own involvement. First child emergency caesar in UK, second episiotomy and last totally no gas en air no nothing. Baby came in one push. Needless to say then the placenta had not detached and had to be assisted by an injection. Then told the doctor is discharging you in morning. I gave birth at 03:07 came in at 01:30 and left at 08:00 in morning but one gets a homehelp/nurse for 7 days in our insurance included. This i found the best. They lok after you and home and even the other kids. Cook clean iron and just be an angel
@@DrJessicaKatanga ,yes! I’m a midwife and I love what I do. I think midwifery is different in the US. Out here ,in some hospitals, midwives practice like doctors. They come in to deliver the baby and not necessarily labor with the women. For that part,we have registered nurses ,who learn how to take care of birthing women ,in about 6 months. At my hospital though, midwives labor with the moms and deliver them ,too. We also have RNs but the midwives do a lot, too. In the UK,all moms are cared for by midwives and I think it makes a huge difference.
@@ajNKaj ,thank you so much…we really need each other. I’m working on it.

Hi there! I’m wondering what times the buses depart from Tirana to Himare? Thank you :)
Awesome video, really nice space. Stay in Sunderland and thinking of moving to Newcastle because of my new job, was wandering, how much do you pay for rent?. If you don’t mind me asking?
thank you! in this video for my room in a 4 bed house, two/three years ago I was paying like £200 a month, right now where I live in one bed flat by myself I pay £600 a month
@@DrJessicaKatanga thank you. That’s actually my budget for a 1 bed flat. Still searching. Hopefully I find something nice too.
I am looking for a new start for me and my son by the end of December next year. I work in early years and I was wondering if this is a good place to relate for a quieter life outside of London
Aw that sounds lovely and yes, I'd definitely say so!
Everyone I know with fibroids already has 2+ kids

Can tourist get residence permit in Albania
Is there a way to heal increased sensitivity?
Welcome in Albania Berat❤
Thank you Dr!
I'm sorry to ask, how are Albanian? Are they friendly?? My husband and I are planning to visit this month or July. When I told family and some friends we want to visit, they were like Albanian are racist.I been doing a lot of research before we travel but most people have said they are lovely.
Such a lovely video❤
I don't know if I have fibroid but I have had pains and heavy flow since my first period. About fifteen years ago I started noticing chunky hard blood drop out of my body which I know know as clots, usually my period can be stable for 3-4 month after which it change. With all my periods I had bloating, excess gas, waist Pain and most recent breast weight and tenderness, fatigue and have more frequent stools. Most often it affects my appetite to eat and will keep me indoors at least 4days. I thought it was normal. Although am 37yrs old never married with no child, I recently stumbled on a video on PMS and that kick off my research journey. My challenge is I have no finance to visit a doctor for proper diagnosis. Please what do you think? Is it fibroid or Endometriosis or PMS
how cute you are. lovely and so beautiful same as the country
Just got rid of fibroid all thanks to alternative treatments and diet protocols and to you Dr osuma…
