Jacob Zengerling is an ambient guitarist, music producer, and music educator based out of St. Louis, MO. He has been studying music and playing shows for 15+ years. Music has always been an important part of his life, and it wasn’t until his recent studies of therapeutic music that he really started to understand why. Now it has become his mission to spread awareness that music is more than just a thing we listen to for entertainment. Music is something that is constantly interacting with us on a daily basis, and can greatly affect our mental, physical, and spiritual well being. His intention is to create music that encourages deep relaxation, and introspection. With the use of a Telecaster guitar, select effects, tuning forks, and various other instruments; Jacob creates ambient atmospheres, and relaxing melodic textures. He plays for yoga classes, meditations, massages, ceremonies, and sound journeys.

I had fun with this one! I recorded some morning birds on the top of Huchuy Qosqo which is a beautiful mountain overlooking the Sacred Valley in Peru. I took that recording and had some fun sampling it in Ableton. Then I recorded some ambient guitar over that, and this is the result. May this music continue to bring you peace.
