You didn’t include the 2x on Leclerc in your calculations. Since the dream team has it on Leclerc I am going assume it had it for every race. Including the 2x DRS the team gets to 5158 points and 139.8 million budget.

Wow you made it. I thought it would be tighter with 2 DNFs, but 9100 is pretty comfortable 👍🏽 I put my DRS boost in the last race on Leclerc and ended up 68 globally and more importantly won the "german" starter league. Still felt like left a lot of points out there, so sky is the limit 😅 Regarding your strategy tip its very interesting to find a good balance between points gaining and budget building next year!

Another good point about Leclerc is I get the sense that lesser drivers don't hold back a front runner who has been knocked back on the grid. Am I correct on this?

Hey rein, i have auto pilot and final fix left. My budget doesn't allow me to use 2 premium drivers and 2 premium constructors. So i was thinking maybe leave the auto pilot for now and go for a premium driver with 2 premium teams. My question with a budget of 109.2 what should be my team and what should i final fix My current team Piastri 2x Bottas Zhou Albon Gasly Fer Mcl

Thanks for the video Rein! It's likely that triple MCL will be best. But, during the deadline steam could you consider how to get VER in plse? I'm at 130.9m can get VER in, but undecided if it's worth doing that differential. Also, think you're very brave considering ALB! IMO, not worth considering, he's a liability, if budgets the reason go for ZHO, COL, BOT, don't need ALB in.

Tip for the last two races: keep Bottas, at least for the last race, it's gonna be his last race in F1, we could see a driver of the day even if he is last like Ricciardo in Singapore. Personal opinion on Zhou vs Albon: I rather take Zhou, the point difference between Zhou and Albon I don't think its gonna be huge in two races, but I do believe that Albon has higher risk of dnf, because maybe williams retires the car if they are not fighting for anything to avoid damages and also because if Zhou is last then he has nobody to crash against 😂

Cracking video sir 🙏🏼 great point about Hulk (or any other reliable C Tier qualifying out of position in sprint quali) being a prime asset for overtakes. Feel like this factor may be easily overlooked with so much focus on 3x use this week. And yes, Mercedes definitely feel like it was shortchanged on points. I don’t feel so bad that I didn’t take a -10 for Mercedes because it would have been the same result as Ferrari 😢

Thanks for the video Rein, excellent as always! The comment you made at 25 mins that getting the top assets right is key - couldn't agree more, especially for a sprint race. On this, it's going to be important to decide correctly on FER or MER. SAI kees saying that FER won't suit Qatar, MER were quite good there last year -- have to remember that HAM drove into RUS on lap one of the race, from p.2 and p.3 on the grid, HAM retiring but RUS able to continue. So I'll likely go with MCL, MER, NOR, PIA plus tier cs. You make a compelling case for considering ALB - but I'm not going to take that bait, lol! Even if he does well in F1 terms and doesn't retire, that's probably meaning around p10 in quali and same in the race, not good for Fantasy. Of course this wkend we have the advantage of being able to watch Sprint Quali before choosing our teams.

Hey, I have wild card, no negative, and auto pilot left. I am 3rd place in my league down 206 points from the leader. I currently have Lando (2x) Leclerc, Albon, Lawson, Bottas, McLaren, RB. My budget is 121.9 with 2 transfers. What chip should I use?

I only have auto pilot and I can’t decide if I should use it for Las Vegas or Qutar

Hi Rein, great content - as always. I indeed have the 3x chip left and am trailing the top spot by 170 points (disastrous Brazil GP). My current line up is: NOR (2x), PIA, COL, ZHO, BOT, FER, MCL (3 transfers available - 128.1m budget) My plan is to go all-in in Qatar - what line up would you recommend for Vegas? I'm thinking of replacing only PIA with LEC and potentially trying a punt in Qatar with VER + top driver and a lower budget constructor.

Hey Rein, great video as always! I just saw the Free Practice sims and Mercedes are shown as 4 tenths off McLaren/Ferrari in the long runs. I think Oscar is a fair bit off the pace, so I think this weekend will be a MCL FER NOR and LEC or SAI. Also, Saubers look good because both will start at the back and can easily gain positions through the chaos. No need for ALB.

In regard of some of your comments: I don’t just think DNF/DSQ must be reduced. I also think, and I really wanna highlight this, that there must be differences between a DNF a driver caused by being too aggressive in an overtake attempt whatsoever or a technical DNF the driver can’t do anything about. It’s out of his hand. I read that sometimes on twitter and discussed that with my friends, because several people have been screwed over this season because of those incidents. They need to differ between something like that. A stroll in Brasil cannot be the same punishment as a driver with technical issues. But and this is is even more important to me… as we already have a/b and c tier assets in value, this system should also be used for points. A C tier driver should score more points for a Q3 finish or a top ten race finish than any a tier asset. And we don’t even need to start talking about that stupid good qualifier-loosing positions (ends up high) < bad-qualifier-gaining positions (end up low) problem As in Bottas vs Zhou Or Albon vs Sargeant earlier this season. I love this game, but man, there is so much to improve…
