Review of Micro Mart Desk Top Table Saw
This video explains the features of the Micro Mart Deluxe table saw. The blade is retractable so you can cut slots, the blade can be angled so you can cut angles, there is a rip gauge (fence) and really neat is the ability to attach a vacuum hose to the saw to cut down on the mess.

American OO update - building the under mountain woodwork and cuts.
มุมมอง 1317 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Progress report on the American 00 layout. I'm doing a 3-rail layout using only techniques and materials available to first generation Model Railroaders. Only the wire and power supply will be items from after 1935-40. This video shows the progress on the mountain. I'll be planting trees on the mountain in a few weeks.
Leland Monorail 1929. (MTH Copy)
มุมมอง 18916 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
MTH Copy of Leland Monorail. This set has Protosounds 3 but as usual it doesn't work. No battery inside. The originals were the first toys to use Bayonet light bulbs and Phillips head screws. MTH used the Phillips screws, but put screw in bulbs inside. The bulbs fall out during use. A bayonet would solve that problem. The story about these neat Monorails - Way back Brad Kaplan borrowed my Lelan...
American OO Update - Nason Interurban running, 3-rail track, the mountain, bridge and yard.
มุมมอง 123หลายเดือนก่อน
This video shows how the mountain will be constructed, the bridge in placed, and how the yard located under the mountain will look. Everything on this layout except the wiring is done using materials and methods available to model railroaders in 1935-40. It's a concept layouyt to see the hurdles faced by modelers in the late 1930s.

Scratch Built Narrow Gauge Industrial Trains

These are 1/32 and 1/19 scale narrow gauge industrial trains. Tim in southern Arizona builds these wonderful creatures in his workshop. They are made of brass, and use small motors for power. The locos are all battery operated with rechargeable batteries, and run on remote control. There is only one speed - very slow - to change the speed cars are added or removed from the trains. The gauge of ...

Beginning woodworker here: That is the sweetest little saw I've ever seen! I have no idea what to do with it, as its size seems to severely limit its usefulness on furniture, but OMG -- it's *so CUTE!!* The next MicroMart saw that shows up on Facebook Marketplace is MINE, dammit -- MINE!! (dollhouse furniture for my great-grandgirl, comin' right up!)
The really neat thing is the saw and all it's parts fit into a single file box for storage and then go onto a shelf. I use it often enough that I moved it to a easier to reach shelf.
@@ivestoys What do you use it on? I'm not sure I could justify buying it just to make dolhouse furniture... But OMG, I WANT this little cutie!
@@krisaaron5771 I make models and stuff for the train layout. Last time I used it I was cutting printed circuit boards to use for insulation. The big table saw has the motor hanging out the back and needs to be dragged around to use. So for small stuff this is quicker. Also for small stuff this is safer because there is less exposed blade and less power when it kicks back.
@@ivestoys (eyes get big) "...uh, what do you mean by 'kicks back'???" (I know what it is; just couldn't resist the classic newbie question). Got my 8" Craftsman at a thrift store, and the lure of having my very own table saw was more than I could stand. Sadly, nobody there knew what it was or what it did, so I made a WAG and bought it for $23. Husband is disgusted that I don't want to use *his* saws, but I will *NOT* use other people's tools, especially when they fuss over every damn fingerprint. Now, time to find a nice used router (the little ones are adorable).
@@krisaaron5771 I have a Craftsman router that mounts on the big table saw. I mostly do grooving with the router so the big saw and it's fence make things easier.
This is cool!
Thanks. It's a lot of fun trying to figure out everything. I just uploaded a progress report on the mountain construction: th-cam.com/video/ofa5hBrSyH4/w-d-xo.html
@ don’t see a lot of outside third rail. Keep it up!
Where is the layout Terry. Under the standard gauge layout?
The o gauge is under the standard gauge. This is North East corner. North side is prewar from innermost loop, South side is postwar from middle loop, outside loop is from the passenger sheds in SW corner.
@ivestoys thanks. I couldn't see the upper level in the video. Well done!
I just don't know about breathing that stuff
The outside third rail's sides could be painted at road crossings with black and white stripes to resemble a crossing gate in the "down" position. The base of the "crossing gate" could be designed so it doesn't get hit by the pick-up shoe on the locomotive.
The shoe rides on top so the rail and chair can look like anything as long as the rail top is undisturbed.
How many of these did they make? Pretty interesting how they pivoted production based on war efforts.
Great question. Production numbers aren't known. Probably a few thousand a year with more towards the end of the decade as the depression eased.
If you like this video drop a note or follow me. I ordered a new phone, and a few holders so I can do better videos. What do you want to see?

Don't.
WORST fricken video ever!!!!! NEVER clean Lionel pieces in this way. The paint is very susceptible to discoloration...NOT THE WAY TO CLEAN HISTORIC PIECES..!! ALSO THIS PERSON IS DESTROYING THE ORIGINAL PAPER LABELS ...CHRIST!!! THE STUPIDITY!!!
Thanks for the idea! Only thing I did differently was use Bar Keepers Friend instead of Comet. Cleaned the metal work just enough, without putting a high buff on it, that you get with metal polish. Just got rid of the tarnish. Also, did not damage the original paint.
When I started with cleanser in hthe 1970s, I was using smooth top stove cleaner. Comet is a bit more cutting, but I've learned not to lean into the car so much and let the cleanser do the work. This is easer than repainting and preserves the original finish.
Wow, just saw this.... You can't fix stupid ...
their is chemicals in wd40 you should not be breathing in
I don't think breathing in vaporized WD40 id good for your health.
You dont want to use oil in a Lionel that was designed for smoke pellets, it will wreck the heating element
if there’s anyone who comes across this video today and sees this comment, I really recommend that YOU DO NOT DO THIS. On the cans of WD40 it explicitly says it is a FLAMMABLE AEROSOL. DO NOT DO WHAT THIS MAN IS DOING!!!!!!!
I can see on curves and grades that it may be tricky to place an outside 3rd rail at the right height.
It's actually easy. I made a simple height gauge out of a penny and some aluminum stock. The penny is the inner rail gauge, and the thinkness is the flange depth. With the aluminum bar I just heat the soldier joint and the 3rd rail rises up to the aluminum bar. The alum. sucks the heat out of the rail and it's stuck at the right height. The oustide 3rd rail always goes on the inside because the tighter curves cause car steps and loco pilots to overhang.
Great video !!!!!!!!
I always enjoy your videos👍
I love the action
Is that a 5x9?
It's 6 feet by just over 10 feet. The American OO layout is over it.
I use Westley's Bleche white and a scrub brush.. scrub em up real good, rinse em and hose them down with armorall (no paint on them though just dirty).
Armor all will help the rubber resist paint, but attracts dirt. My dad was infatuated with Armor al.
I love those version of lionel the engines be looking good prewar
Photos are owned by ebay when you uploaded FYI. Report these guys so ebay can pull the ad and notify seller to change password. Direct contact is a red flag and violation of ebay communications policy.
I would like to see Lionel produce some new sets based on these old timers ...... template and steel, no cheap plastic ......😁👍❤🇺🇸
👍🚂🚞🚞🚞
Awesome freight and passenger sets. 💯
Isn't there a 'Report' button?
95% of sellers on ebay are crooks, but 5% are real... Ebay doesn't care, and only wants money...
Then why have you not contacted eBay they will instantly pull the auction buy it now instead of making a video
Good video
3:27 The $7.68 bid now if that’s the only bid and there is no reserve there I see that ring must sell for $7.68. If not the account will be suspended for a period of time. And it is kind of weird where it’s in Rialto, California, but the account holder is in England because if you have a reserve, bid, it’ll say it right on by the current bid but it won’t show what the reserve bid is this particular item does not have any so that means that ring could be sold for $7.68 even if it’s worth 5000 bucks and if the account is” hacked” wouldn’t the account holder notice it? Then contact eBay?
If you purchased through PayPal buying in eBay, you have basically double protection from fraud meaning if you don’t get what you paid for either eBay or PayPal will reimburse you
eBay won’t tolerate back door purchases. You must go through the proper channels to buy through eBay a seller one time that I purchased from contacting me through messaging wanting me to buy some other pieces of equipment from him but he didn’t want me to buy it through eBay he wanted me to buy it directly through him. I explained to him I do not break eBay rules the only way I would purchase. The items is if he lists them on eBay
I’d ask him to send a pic of the items with a post it note with the date on it & see what they say.
Yeah like the scammer is going to really waste time replying to that question.... 🙄🙄
I'm loving the camera angles on this. How do you get them so bad?? That takes REAL dedication and practice to get them that bad to the point of unwatchable cos I feel sick. Great way not to get your point across and limit your views. If that is your aim, you deserve major congratulations...well done.
If you didn't like the way the production was going... you could EASILY have clicked STOP, and gone on to another video that meets your high standard. You think, just because someone posts a video that you might be interested in watching, that the uploader owes you quality control, and a motion sickness bag? I get the feeling you make it a habit of putting other's videos in charge of your weak stomach. The success or failure of someone else's video is none of your concern. You either benefit or waste your time watching it, because every view is a gamble. Looks like you came here just to bitch about it. Since he charges NO ONE to watch it, the least you could have done was simply walk away, if a "thank you" was too far outside your budget.
Just report the listing, he is breaking Ebay rules, requesting a sale off ebay is not done. Ebay will remove the ad if you report. Next time watermark your pictures.
You fall for that, you deserve to get scammed. Just tell ebay and they'll remove it so fast.
He can't solicit a sale off eBay. Report it and eBay will remove it.
I've spent time reporting many of these listings!!! Haven't seen a single one removed after months of being active. It's absolutely insane
Hey Terry. They are nice. I use to have a set of those.
Please buy a tripod, I’m getting sea sick
I use metrial spirit with slight mix with bachmanns smoke fuild .smikes like a mother..
That’s fu**en crazy
I'd like to put something inside his muffler.
I also notice you pointed out the item is in CA but the user is in United Kingdom and past sales were in pounds.
SO MANY SCAMMERS IN UK
Guys! Actually he is breaking eBay policy by showing his user name on public even though he a scammer. It is against policy. Do not attempt this, If someone report him by leaking information, He would of gotten banned instead. A grown man that uses so much foul languages
For moral, he clearly said this is an obviously hacked account and its name is not personal either. It being hacked means the criminal is to be blamed, not the account owner.
Reminds me of the similar scams on Marketplace with cars and other electronics.
ebay ONLY cares about maximum money otherwise they would NOT be ripping off everyone with their fees which are about 15%
the fees are legitmate base on the amount of marketing they do to get the numbers of traffic. Just like any other sites more traffic more fees. Sames as youtube, More traffic creator get paid more. You're just cheap as fuck dude! or don't know how to work the system within policy
All businesses only care about maximum money. 15% is not a rip-off, what do you think it should be ?? I have sold thousands of items on Ebay and I am fine with the fee structure.
@@ryanjones4150 it IS a fuking RIP off. 15% up to a zillion dollars. I also sell on gunbroker for my guns and they charge 1/3 of ebays FUKING RIP OFF FEES
15% to bring you to buyers all around the world seems like a pretty dang good deal. You ever tried selling on craigslist, marketplace, or going to do a live show? Lets just say it's 100x more work.
@@edition-deluxe BS. 15% is a fuking rip off. the % is pretty much all prices and you know fuking well that is WRONG to charge 15% of $10 item and a $1000 item when the so-called work is the same. total BS. Compare to gunbroker witch is 4% for a $100 or $10,000 item
Ives! You're running some nice scale detailed equipment. Love that 38 showroom look and feel. I love a 226E with some 2900 series freights behind it, but diggin' those 2800 series cars.
I sold all the semi-scale cars when I decided to concentrate on collecting early trains. Everytime I get some I consider keeping them, but would rather put the moeny toward an early trolley.
