Amazing work 🎉❤❤❤❤❤🎉
Thanks 😄
I love how you present each new word. First it is used in a sentence with each character color coded to match its English counterpart, then it is also presented in Pinyin. Finally it is read through twice. This channel is quickly becoming one of my favorites to learn Mandarin! I am writing each sentence to practice my character writing. 谢谢
Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad to hear you're finding the Mandarin learning experience enjoyable here.

Drawing corn, okra and mushrooms seems to be easier than the respective Chinese characters (汉语汉字)for the same.
It's understandable that drawing pictures of corn, okra, and mushrooms might seem easier than writing the respective Chinese characters for them. Chinese characters, or Hanzi (汉字), require learning stroke order and specific shapes, which can be more challenging than drawing simple illustrations. However, with practice and repetition, writing Chinese characters can become more manageable. It's all about finding the right methods and resources that work best for you. Moreover, Chinese character culture is profound and extensive. Depending on the context, a single Chinese character can convey many meanings, allowing for very precise and nuanced expression of the speaker's intended meaning, even highly metaphorical ones. So, you speak in english when talking to friends? HELLO, HI?
Yes, we use "hi" and "hello" to greet each other. These two words are commonly used greetings in China. Besides these two words, sometimes we also incorporate other simple English words into our sentences, especially in informal spoken language. I will gradually introduce them in this channel. Additionally, some Chinese words are transliterations of English words. Thank you for watching!

Thank you for your reply! Actually, it's the same in China. Greetings are just a way to say hello, without intending to pry into the other person's privacy. The other person is not likely to reveal any unhappiness or complaints to you either. If it's a family member or a very close friend, they might express concern. For example, if I see a close friend looking down, I might ask her: Are you okay? Are you feeling unwell? I would mainly want to know if there’s anything I can do to help. For ordinary friends, greeting is just a form of small talk. Thank you for watching the video! Have a nice weekend.

I love this video!❤❤❤
I love these but can you please connect all of the vegetable videos into a longer one so I can listen during work?❤❤❤
I'm sorry I can't merge the videos and then upload them again because TH-cam doesn't allow duplicate content. One solution I thought of is using a playlist, which can automatically play videos one after another. This link below is all the videos I've uploaded about Chinese vocabulary so far. th-cam.com/play/PLwQVFFVSk0hCEptHfuPzrqTTyczi7lcVd.html You can also create your own playlist, choose the videos you want to watch, and the order in which they'll play. Then the videos in the playlist will automatically play one after another. I'm sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for watching the videos!
谢谢你!I like the way you teach. I will be watching all your videos over and over. Most talk way to fast for me. I appreciate your videos. ❤
Thank you so much for your kind words and feedback! It's wonderful to know that you'll be watching the videos repeatedly; repetition can be a great way to reinforce learning. I'm glad my pace works well for you. If you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know. Thank you again for watching! 谢谢观看视频!
Excellent ideas of presentation and focus choices . The grammar explanations are equally well taught. Thank you, please carry on. It would help to have a clearer audio of the film scenes.
Thank you very much for your feedback! I'm glad you found the presentation and focus choices to your liking, as well as the grammar explanations helpful. I truly appreciate your suggestion regarding clearer audio for the film scenes. I will certainly do my best to upload the clearest audio of the film scene I can find. Thank you again for your support!

I adore your lessons. Examples help a lot and I also like slow pronunciation. One suggestion: speak twice word-by-word then say the whole sentence twice. It’s necessary because Chinese words are pronounced differently in a sentence. For instance,娶 has a third tone when it’s a separate word, but it become a second tone in the phrase 娶你。
Thank you very much for your suggestion. I will make improvements starting from next week's video (the video scheduled for uploading tomorrow has already been completed). The tone change you mentioned is one of the tone change rules in Hanyu Pinyin. I will gradually introduce all the tone change rules in future videos. One of the tone change rules, the "er" sound , is also introduced in the video to be released tomorrow. If you are interested, please watch this episode video. Thank you again for your suggestion, and thank you for watching my videos!
I feel like he said 我想跟你白头老啊 instead if 我想跟你白头到老。 am I correct?
I listened carefully again, and what he said was "我想跟你白头到老' without '啊'."
Thank you so much. I appreciate your putting time for teaching
You're very welcome! I'm glad I could help. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to share them in the comments.
