Very sound advice. Photography is not about plumping your subject matter on the table and shoot away. Planning takes time, and time is what is needed to produce the best photo you can. Apart from music, I enjoyed landscape photography, and if you talk about time, next to animal photography, landscape photography can take on an agenizing wait for the best light and conditions. Unfortunately, health issues don't allow this anymore. So, I have to bring my photography indoors, for the most part. I can still indulge in a little street shooting, though. Past sports injuries are what is raising its ugly head right now. Bad knees. Oh, well, that's life. Good video. Much thanks.

That is such a nice job that you have. You could advertise yourself, "I Shoot for Food!" Maybe I could work as your assistant. No pay, just a free meal😂. You shoot food at your home studio with all of your equipment, so I'm surprised that you don't bring at least one light and some sort of reflector to fill in the shadows. But, then again you are using natural light through the store window. Do you feel that is enough, especially on really overcast days?

Did you have to pay for all that food to shoot? If so, I’m sure you didn’t try to eat it all. I’d have a big tummy ache after 🤢😂

That’s a great idea for a table. You can just fold it all up and put it away. I like the idea of having shelves on the bottom so that you avoid clutter all over the place. I’ve never seen anything like it before. Where did you purchase them? Thank you.

Do you think mobile phone Samsung S24 Ultra would be good enough to get the same results? I can not afford camera and I just received this Samsung on very a special deal. It is the last version of Samsung if I am not wrong. I was trying to find video on your channel with some tips for product photography with mobile phone but couldn't find anything. I have the same softbox 120cm and 95cm. Quick fold softboxes price are usually 2-5x here in Philippines depending on brand so it's a great choice. I keep it assembled in my home studio. I also have 105cm reflective umbrella for on location shoot. The downside with umbrella is you cannot put grid on it for more light control but it's not a big deal when shooting outdoor.

The difference between a parabolic and regular umbrella is not that one is a shoot-through and the other is reflective. The difference is the shape, as the word parabolic describes.

Nice presentation

I will never forget the time I struggled with the rods on a big softbox only to finish putting it together and found out that I had the mounting ring on backwards. That softbox now stays home fully assembled. Thank God for umbrella style softboxes.
