Track day camera and editing software test
มุมมอง 1866 ปีที่แล้ว
I had a lucky chance of taking part to a track day. This was my first time on track and it clearly shows as I was pretty slow compared to others. But as the day passed I got more speed and confidence (I should've recorded my last lap and not at the beginning of the session). I also tested a new editing software called HitMovie Express, and it really seems pretty good. My bike is 2010 Triumph St...

    that, my friend is a high quality build. Really nice choices by the builder. I have the kit and the detail up parts and I can't wait to begin. I hate to be a dick but I just watched a few other videos with cars that had huge serious defects and mediocre quality and yet some guys have no qualms about leaving the camera in a spot that I would frankly consider embarrassing. I'm not criticizing the builder, we all are at different levels I'm better than I was but not as good as many guys who post great videos. I just question their confidence where do they get it? One guy talked for minutes without moving the camera away from some of the messiest work I ever saw. It also had miss aligned emblems. that happens to the best of us. the difference is I wouldn't film it unless it was perfect. that's just me. You work and tour video are excellent

    Yeah I know that I am watching this a year later but that set was really bad compared to mine I would have called Hasbro and sent them some pictures that set should have been not sent out that's disgusting my expansion of the Frozen horror and maze in the mirror the Miniatures are like 10 times better it's it's a shame because the corset the most important part of the game the Miniatures are not that great the details just not there but the new managers are better hey maybe we'll get a second edition of it one day and then redo the corset Minis

    • @s7r49

      My set was pretty bad I had to fill a lot of cracks and glue a few broken pieces. My skeletons had almost no detail compared to what I've seen like the mold was bad. Most the bent stuff I could fix with hot water but I have two swords that keep going back to bent eventually . Hope fully my paint job doesn't start to peel on them from all the bending

    The other suggestions I had seen often seemed to indicate a lot more manual manipulation of each mini is required. I'm glad to see that it should hopefully not be extremely intensive on a per mini basis.

    Great video, thx for the work. I will stick with my old HQ. I like the oldschool style better. And the quality of the bended new minis and their unprofessional packaging is a nogo for me. At least for that price. Hope they think about improvements for further editions.

    • @JuhoMakingStuff

    • @JuhoMakingStuff
      @JuhoMakingStuff 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. I didn't count the investment too accurately. But I'd guess 1000€ +- some hundreds (this includes the tires as they were the biggest single purchase) plus of course the bike itself. I didn't count the hours, but it was quite a lot as I was learning stuff along the way.

    I know you said you put a brim and two support rods on the neck but for me it won't print even adding those support rods... I'm going to try lowering the speed... I'm printing at 60mm per second... What other advice can you give me for the neck?

    • @JuhoMakingStuff
      @JuhoMakingStuff 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe try generate proper supports with your slicer. It's more cleanup though.

    • @goodoldtiberius
      @goodoldtiberius 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well I went down to 15mm/s on outer layers cause I had a lot of problem with printing ribs and smaller parts. Also went with printing the supports on slim parts that would otherwise wobble out of existence and make me print them again (yes I'm talking about those damn ribs). Also check your fan settings, cause it's important to set it to 100%. You get detailed model sacrificing it's strength, but since only visuals matter in this type of print then no point in considering how tough it would be. I also used 3 shells most of the time. Good luck with printing, hope I'm not too late with the tips.

    I imagine this as a ship the rebellion would use before they got a hold of the X-Wings. Although I think that the bend in the wings should have been bendable because the wingspan is so large that realistically they’d have trouble fitting it in hangers. So you could bend the wings up to minimize the wingspan and add room. The models wings didn’t have to be bendable but just give the visualization of bendability.
