I don’t know if I’ll get a response or not. But is there a way to have a placeholder for checkboxes of any kind?
We don't support filling in checkboxes out of the box (yet), but you can read about a workaround in our FAQ article: mailmergic.com/faq/checkboxes/

I had to ask myself... is 19 bucks really worth me saving myself like 3 hours writing out names on over 500 individual forms? The answer is obviously yes!

Hello! If I've created 256 people who are each to receive 26 certs, can I email them the attachment (set up as an individual, not 1 bulk PDF)? Will they receive only the certs applied to their name and email? I don't want attendees to receive certificates for other people than themselves. Hope this makes sense. Look forward to your response. 🙏
Thank you for contacting us! It is not possible to send more than one PDF document to a recipient in one email. Yes, that is correct, the recipients will only receive the certificates applied to their name and email. If you have more questions, let us know!
it gives water mark?
Yes, a watermark will be printed on your generated PDF files on the free plan. To remove the watermark, please subscribe to one of our paid plans.

Is it possible to save pdf outlines to upload new excel info each time or do you have to manually fill the placeholders each time?
Hi, it is possible to create a template and save the entire PDF outline. Next time, you can simply upload a new Excel file and create a new mail merge without any additional effort.
This looks like it will work well to send certificates to conference attendees. I'll give it a try.

So I have to set place holder every time I create PDF for same application form? Or it is one time exercise for one application form?
You only need to add placeholders once, and you can save the template and reuse it with different Excel data at any time.
This is a great tool for sending our attendance certificates to hundreds of attendees every month.

Hello Shaykh, you can remove the watermark by subscribing to one of our paid plans.
Basically the free service is useless because the stupid watermark makes any legal document null.

its a great tool, only one thing i am facing is that when i merge a date from the excel sheet it takes it some number e.g suppose dt is 06.11.2022 after mail merging it shows me 442356 some thing like this. any solution for this. help is highly appreciated
To get a correctly formatted date in the generated PDF file, you can save the date as “Text” format instead of “Date” format. This way the date will always be printed as you can see it in your Excel file. You can find out more in our FAQ article: pdfmailmerger.com/faq/incorrect-date-format/

How to make {{first name}} filename work? Distributed to different person
Hi Cindy, we have simplified the functionality for different file names. Just enter an @ sign and you can choose which column name you want to insert as a placeholder. Placeholders like {{first name}} are deprecated and no longer work. You can find more information here: pdfmailmerger.com/faq/individual-filenames/
how to do you manage if you have Multiple rolls for one PDF. Does all the data for each PDF need to be in one roll?
Hi Alexander, the data for one PDF must be in a single row. If you have a table with, for example, 5 columns and 4 rows, you can copy the rows and paste them after the last column so that you get a table with 20 columns and one row. Let me know if you need further assistance!
does this tool work on Mac?
Yes our tool also works on a Mac! You just need a browser and an internet connection.
