Tamron 50-400mm For Nikon Z Mount Lens Review - A Great Superzoom
In today's video we review the new Tamron 50-400mm for Nikon Z mount. This lens has been around for Sony E mount for a couple years now, but just recently Tamron brought it to the Z mount. I want to give a thank you to @milfordphoto for letting me borrow this lens for this video, maybe one day I'll add one to my fleet! I was not paid or sponsored for this video or my review in anyway, this review is just my personal thoughts with no reimbursement.

I really want Nikon's 180-600 next year, but this 50-400 might be a more useful lens for me at the moment. The image quality throughout its range, size and versatility are so impressive. The one small downside is I feel Tamron should have included the $129 tripod collar, but easy enough to add and perhaps many people wouldn't use it with a lens of this size? Will likely order this 50-400 as soon as the first promo appears. Throwing you a new sub, let's get you to 200! 😎
Thank you for your comment. While the 180-600 is a superb lens, I think it would be a lot to travel with. I love that Tamron is taking what is standard such as the 100-400 and expanding on it. I do agree the tripod collar being includrd would've been nice, although from my testing the VC makes handheld shooting a lot easier. I appreciate your sub! More lens reviews coming in the future

@@stigfloberghagenphotography That's such a nice lens. This lens is a great super zoom option for a good amount of money less. Us Nikon shooters have some good choices to pick from!
I have a Tamron telephoto lens that I use for my Canon EOS T7. It takes really good pictures.
Tamron makes some incredible lenses!
@@WaterfallJoe Yeah. I don’t know if you remember me, but I was the kid that came to Milford Photo to about a fast lens for my camera and you recommended taking some classes to learn about the different camera settings. Thank you again for that.

If you want to venture up to northern CT, Enders Falls in Granby is a great set of waterfalls.

@@FrankPiercy I have been but it's been forever, I definitely need to visit there again. I wanted to go to the lower falls but there's were thorn bushes everywhere

Your on a Tripod, try F11 instead..will only result in a faster shutter speed..sharper image

Thank you for your comments and subscription. This will be my second visit! We are doing many waterfalls aside from Skogafoss. We're planning to do Seljalandsfoss, Godsfoss, Kirkjufellfoss, I can't remember all the other ones we're going to haha.

@@WaterfallJoe It’s a very long and difficult backpack from the North Rim, but not so difficult that I brought my 5 year old son there. It blasts out of a cave at the bottom of a towering, limestone cliff.
The horizon is crooked, but i had to use calipers on the screen to confirm because the dock is very crooked and was messing this my head.
Beautiful. Now do the the other 3 seasons. Please.
