What puzzles me: no one seems to care or talk about the indegenous people of the continent whose land has been forcefully taken, they've been mass slaughtered and those who survived were put into reservations. Of course land that can barely be cultivated. They still live there, the one thing the USA could put right is to give the remaining indegenous people their land back and let them rule because they were there first. But this is out of question nor even discussion. Making UN guidelines while not caring at all to act accordingly to it. All we hear about is rights for black people and compensations, turning hate against white people blaming them for the crimes they didn't commit but nothing about those who suffered most, nearly erupted and still suffer from this outrageous crimes. Why does no-one stand for the indegenous people? All except them actually don't belong there. But it seems they don't get any voice, support, inclusion etc. I don't understand it. I'm not American, never been there, but this is something I don't understand. There should be an indegenous president only. Could someone enlighten me, why they're not included and get more support and rights? 🤔

As a woman with darker than average skin and a conglomerate of backgrounds, I am so very tired of the divisive woke ideologies. She has a rather smug look as she asked the question, but it sounded like she was actually listening to the answer. That gives hope. A refreshing clip. The reality is we are all being played like puppets. Dividing us is the goal as part of a bigger goal of one world communism. Lord have mercy on us all.

Well undeniably there are white "privileged" people men usually because women and blacks were segregated and denied opportunities to go to school or even vote hundreds of years ago but "privilege" often just means wealth and there are some black and female wealthy people now compared to years ago. Certainly white serfs that revolted against the King in Britain in the 15 000s or whenever were not very privileged. Don't deny the modern slavery vs privilege that goes on now either even Douglas is privileged to be openly homosexual now compared to decades ago he would have imprisoned just for that like Oscar Wilde likely so no sense denying LGBTQ were never oppressed.

Thomas Sowell wrote a book titled, “Affirmative Action Around The World” where he illustrates how this policy has been a universal failure for those it was supposedly created to help. To paraphrase Dr. Sowell, ‘affirmative action is unique in that it harms everyone involved in different ways.’ By admitting black students into schools based solely on race you inevitably end up mismatching students with the wrong school. Thus it results in taking students who would be on the honor roll in a state school and turns them into artificial failures in an Ivy League school as they struggle to keep up with the high demands of the work. This is something they their white counterparts with similar grades would never be exposed to. On top of that asian students who have the grades and are prepared to succeed in an Ivy League school are to often are forced to settle with a lesser school that fails to challenge them. Affirmative action does not lot enough slots for the numerous high performing Asian students holding them back as well! Affirmative action harms everyone involved! Kenny Xu keep speaking the truth!

Nothing he says really made a point. Yeah, history was bad for people in the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries, I’m not denying that. But just because people back then had it worse doesn’t mean that white privilege doesn’t exist. And to people saying “oh I had it rough”, no doubt you did. So did I. But, taking the US for example, their justice system is constructed to harm non whites. Basically every part of their society is built around harming non whites.

We have this now in Australia. Most of us with Anglo/ Irish heritage have a convict past, with stories of incredible cruelty, chain gangs, torture, etc. Yes, this was in the past but it was our story. Now, we are invaders and colonisers. Our ancestors were ripped from their homes and families and sent across to the other side of the world, so far away that the seasons are opposite, and for minor or petty crimes. Yet, every year when we celebrate the fact that this terrible beginning created an incredible country we are told that it should be called invasion day rather than Australia Day. An invasion of 11 ships, three of which were supply ships, six were packed full of convicts and only two had any military presence. Apparently this small fleet invaded an entire society and colonised them! Our version of the BBC (ABC) now runs this as their common story every January.

In life, the biggest division is not by race, but by being in different income groups, which brings different opportunities, housing, educational standards for our children, life experiences, etc. Anyone can move into a different income group through edication and hard work. In my first school, in the 1970's, the only black kid there was also one of the "posh" kids, as his dad was a paediatrician at the local children's hospital and his mother a senior nurse and their house was - detached!! Achieved through hard work and a desire to get on in life. There's no white privilege, or any other inherent privilege and believing there is only holds people back.

Our family have looked into our ancestors past quite extensively, back to Samson's of Sheldich, Kent in the 1760's, we were definately all white and Britsh, but not privileged - we were very, very poor. It is only in this last 20 years that some of the younger ones have been able to study at college or go onto university and have a qualification that led them to have a career. All our older ancestors were either going out to work at the age of 14 or going to war, or working on farms and being in service as young girls and boys or In one very sad case died in the workhouse - WHITE PRIVILEGE- what exactly is that? Who made this up to blame white people for all the wrong doings of the world?

Its because the term "white" is now attached to racism, if we stated Caucasian Privilege its not as bad. This is generational trauma, Bit when you look at it from the most basic understanding and remove skin color, its actually called "The majority privilege" By labeling the kind as the source of the issue we fail to see what the real issue actually is, which is Minorities of all subgroups have issue with feeling heard, and having the same rights. This applies to all Minorities in any country across the world Mexicans in America, and in Canada Caucasians in China and Japan Asians, Japanese's in America Caucasians in India Once we finalization with true multiculturism within all lands, we will see our archaic ideologies slip away for a new reality. Why immigration is actually helping us solve racism.

One example: White privilege is when whites are seen as individuals while every black person is blamed for any and all problems in the black community. Another example: White privilege is brutally colonizing a land destroying the people and their culture and then forcing your European systems on them while holding all of the land and resources from them and making them labor to live while forcing your religion on them. There are many many more examples but I don't think this comment will stay up long anyways

I am white angelo. I do believe there is white privilege due to the deserved reputation we have to meet the demand requiring our best performance to be hired and dependability to retain employment. You could also say there is Jewish and Asian privilege due to a higher performance level in college academics and career than anglos. A simple fact, some cultures take education and career much more seriously than other cultures. It is a choice....

I'm a leftist and decidedly not woke. Conversations pertaining to the division of labor and redistribution of wealth needn't be sullied by Identity politics. I think everyone should have unfettered access to healthcare and education, a home is your birthright, clean water is more important than any amount of economic progress, and there are two genders.
