Yes! I been working trying to support my family. Have a new breeding T.F.P.’s Barracuda x T.F.P.’s Chun-Li .

I had to take a job to provide for my family where I travelled around the country so that put a wrench in the whole program. I just got back to my fish farm after 3 years and I’m starting to cook up some new recipes over here 😏. I’ll post new videos at some point to show what I have going on. Yes, inbreeding can definitely cause deformation. That’s why it is important to only inbreed when you have that 1 in a million fish and then after that use line breeding to preserve the line but to outcross every 2 or 3 generations to avoid deformation or disease. I like to inbreed using half brother and half sisters. For example same father but different mothers.

Bro, unfortunately, T.F.P.’s Tigger died in 2015 and T.F.P.’s Black History died in 2017. I’m definitely planning to do a Managuense/ Motaguense cross as soon as I can find a nice Red Tiger Motaguense for T.F.P.’s Blacksmith. Yeah I’ve been avoiding mixing my fish with flowerhorns like the plague, but I got an idea of a hybrid that I wants to create and I needed and all red fish for it so I had to use Flowerhorn. I have other lines that I do not have intentions of crossing with flowerhorns. Great comment! 👍

Why would you compare a member of the Sphyrnidae family with one of the Cichlidae family? Evolution dictated the size of the Parachromis Dovii to be below 12 feet because it would be very hard to sustain such size being a freshwater piscivore native to freshwater lakes and rivers of Central America. Compare that to any Sphyrna sp. that live in the ocean which is more than capable of sustaining various species of predators that can attain 12 feet or larger. They say this P Dovii is huge because they rarely reach 24+ inches in captivity (This is not always true as "Guapote Mel" has proven with his huge Dovii).
