As a bears fan I agree with the defensive head coach hire. Offense takes second fiddle unless you find the stud OC. At the same time sometimes you hire the offensive guy and it doesn’t work which sets your team back even further because when the offense is the main focus the defense takes a hit. If the offense fails and you have a weak defense your team is trash and it’s time to blow the whole thing up.

You’re right since the Minneapolis Miracle in 2017 and the No Call in 2018 we’ve had some bad luck all the way through to the present . All things considered, Darren Rizzi did a pretty good job with this depleted team throughout all the injuries. I hope the new coach keeps him. Unlike Dennis Allen, Darren Rizzi got more out of less.

When Carr initially arrived he rubbed the fan base the wrong way. He was pointing fingers at receivers when it was obviously his fault. When he did that he fell out of favor. Then the scrutiny began as his stats came when the games were out of hand. Restructure his contract as he’s a backup at best. At this stage of his career and you look at Stafford, Goef, Wilson hell even Rogers, Carr does not measure up and what made it worse, you had Finished Allen at the helm. Understand, the coach got let go twice with the same QB🤦🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️⚜️

Available is so important to evaluate players. Screw it. I’d give Rizzi a prove-it deal. Get Carr supporting cast, keep developing Rat, and pick up another QB prospect. Yes, keep Young if cost is right. He’s going to get a lot better - I bet.

I agree guys it’s time for a Change. It’s should be a new direction with a different vision and a new voice. Training Staff / Drafting and Scouting Staff / Defensive Staff should all be Replaced . Carr should be back until the current deal expires after next season. Davis and Cam should return. Honey Badger missed too many Tackles / Interceptions and is small and a step slow and should be replaced . Harris should be back on a Team friendly deal . Help is needed at Corner. Adebo / Taylor / Kool Aid / Ugo all gave up big plays and missed tackles and were constantly beaten on 3rd downs ! Granderson and Bresee are the keepers on the DLine the rest of them were disappointing. It’s just time to finally make wholesale changes up and down the Front Office and Roster.

This team is just awful from top to bottom and the 2-0 was really misleading because the beginning of the season the starters are getting used to full speed. So other teams adjusted and adapted while the Aints just got worse and worse in addition to injuries. I just heard the announcer during the Dolphins game say that the Dolphins had the most injuries in the NFL, so just blaming this record on injuries is just ignorance and arrogance. This team is just nightmarishly bad
