Yes, let's all remember and revere this man who impregnated and abandoned women like dogs, beat up his girlfriends, and became a debilitated paranoid drug addict who couldn't contribute anything to the Stones anymore, which is why they fired him shortly before he OD'd. Btw, do you see any writing credits for him on any of the Stones' catalog? No. Still they gave his family a generous percentage of Stones royalties in perpetuity. I'm glad his grave has a very simple headstone without undeserved words implying heroism.
Murdered. Probably by his builder.
I visit his grave every year when im on Holiday here ...and i just noticed on this Vid That the Glass Case that holds the Teddy has been moved it was up against the head stone but on the vid it shows it forward strange this
Been there
Hi Jim, many thanks for posting this. Unusually you've not said where it is but I believe it's Helensburgh Cemetery in Argyll, Scotland. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
All he did was put an ad in the paper christ
RIP Brian, looks like the grounds crew was on strike 😬
Buried In Majectic English Soil.
Deus acolha essa alma tao jovem meu Deus! 😢
Thank you for showing this. I loved The Spiders From Mars. His music was awesome. His sideburns were legendary.
Thank you for this.
I am insulted by any glorification of someone who plays a GAME Public statues should be about people who have made a contribution to society in a generous or inventive fashion. In Stoke on Trent there is a statue of some footballer smack dab in the middle of the town centre, yet there is another, smaller, statue hidden away by the side of the Library of Reginald Mitchell, who designed the Spitfire, saving many lives during WW11.
Clough.
A sad sitght indeed Jim , I went there in 2006 to see his grave I thought it would be a chore to find it . I was amazed how easy it is located , thanks for the video
God bless old big head 🌳⭐️⭐️🌳 forever missed
One day I hope to make it there and pay my respect. I missed the privilege to meet him unfortunately.
R.I.P Rock God Trevor!
Lovely video of a broadcasting legend. Brilliant DJ and always find it so sad when the headstones are so barely readable. Great shame....thankyou for the video 👍
fast Eddie 🎸thank you ❤️🌹RIP
Visited here about 9 months ago ! brilliant manager ! and back in 1974 I wish we had kept him ! Saw us lose 3-0 at Stoke when he was manager but if he had stayed I am sure he would have made us successful !
It has been the subject of much repair, after suffering damage, if you measure the grave, it is 5 foot 8 inches long Winston Churchills height I have an idea that the original gravestone simply said Winston Spencer Churchill Statesman the nearby railway station had been mothballed and earmarked for closure ( Dr Bloody Beeching), it had to be refurbished and brought back to life for the thousands of people attending, a friends Father was in to help and spent two weeks there, afterwards bringing his family along to say thank you The Modern generation will never know, how he gave hope to those in Europe trapped by the tyranny of the Nazis nearby is a bench commemorating the Danish Resistance ,
Not a bad place at all to be buried
I thought he was buried in Westminster Abbey
@@howellstevens9622 Then why is there a tombstone at the front door of the Abbey that says Winston Churchill
@@hmybritannia He was lying in state for 3 days in westminster hall .
Excelente ❤
Did that sign read 730 USA is 430 big difference for visitors
I will one day make this pilgrimage to the resting place of Godstar. thanks for this video.
The only person to treat Brian Jones dreadfully was Brian Jones. Obviously a great number of people on here have not done an in-depth study of his life. Too many sugar coated documentaries.
Brian Jones is the forgotten man of the Rolling stones. He formed and named the group and was crucial to their early sound until drugs loused up his life. The Stones went on to become mega stars in the 1970s and beyond that some critics may argue Jones wasn't needed anyway.
O SENHOR JONES FOI O LADO HORIGINAL DO STONES
Love the music but kind of hypercrits. Brian did have a big habit but so did Keith.
After fast Eddie nothing can stand by the things he did.
all the fame in the world, in the end everybody will end there
Thank you for posting this. It's as if the viewer is actually walking up the footpath to the grave. I so hope to be able to visit Donald's grave in the future (a big fan and admirer). For the meantime, your video has offered the nearest thing to actually being there myself.
With all the money Mick and the crypt keeper Keith have you think they would give a few $ to have their fellow band mates grave kept up better. RIP Brian

Sad really...😢
Rest in Peace 🙏
You’d think by now the boys could put a few shekels together and spruce that area up a bit … He was after all one of the originals … 🎶RIP mate. 🇦🇺
The Icon of the Sixties
I feel the next and possibly last concert should a tribute to Brian Jones because he deserves recognition
He was probably murdered by some money hungry jerk.
Those Graves could sure use some attention with grass mowing
These videos detailing the graves of once 'important' people illustrate perfectly the transient irrelevance of the wealth/power/fame etc.... which so many waste their lives chasing.
Thanks for this visit Phil was an absolute legend of a drummer with an incredible sense of humour
Such a perfect place to lay Brian to rest. At the entrance, the building looks like a small castle. The place is very quiet, the grass uncut, which gives it a more restful look, rather than a place where there are always people working, keeping the grass short and disturbing the area and I like that Brian's headstone is white, which makes it stand out. Of course, I would rather Brian were still around and living a happy life . But as long as I live, Brian will live in my memory .
I get what you are doing, setting a scene amd all, but walk faster would you?
Sorry, but the Bonespurs are playing up these days.
Best drummer ive ever seen AWESOME SPEED, FEROCITY. NOT seen anyone else get near him. Been a Motorhead fan since my teens in the 80,s. Remember No Sleep till Hammersmith being released. First 5 seconds on "Stay Clean" 😁
Keep playing Brian, we miss you the only stone... RIP
