...I mean, if you think about it, game engines nowadays work kinda the same as well too. You can take prefabs in Unity for example, they are all objects made from little things that can be dropped from a Unity scene to another and are highly portable and wired easily. Way ahead of his times :)

Nice cat! Bambu X1-C machines are fantastic, but too many people put them on a pedestal like they are perfect printers, maybe a year ago, but today there's more capable printers that print better for almost half the price like the QIDI plus 4. There's an AMS system coming out for that too, will that will have issues is anyone's guess but they have learnt a lot from Bambu's weaknesses.

Excellent video documentation.

For me, the tube from the AMS to the adapter on the back of the printer (what you call the fore port) is where it gets jammed. A simple fix, if that's the case, is to take a piece of masking tape and use it to secure the tube against the back of the printer. After that, filament goes through fine and no issues. When I have a jam the first thing I check is if that tape came loose.

I can confirm Rob packs these up very well - I got mine from him just a few months back!

Good idea and its very creative

I was lucky enough to go to the first NeXT Developer Camp. This brings back good memories of those days. I worked at Pencil Sofftware and worked on Co-Xist X11R4 software for NeXT

For anyone who doesn’t have this book yet, just buy it; I can purchase the guarantee you will be impressed and pleased. Even though I have the original, I am absolutely getting the extended version also.

After watching this, I have become motivated to take database programming and web development more seriously in my studies as a computer programming major. I realise that the internet I grew up just.. I never truly appreciated or knew just how much it had to go through to get to where it is today. As always, I am captivated by Steve's way of speaking. Out of all presentations that I have seen of his, this is by far my favorite!! Thanks for uploading this, Rob!

In terms of Steve's career, 1993 was probably his lowest point. NeXT was a massive failure, PIXAR was undergoing a very difficult path for "Toy Story". When 1994 came and "Toy Story" was a surprise smash hit, Steve instantly put himself as CEO of Pixar and immediately made the company public. NeXT was becoming a very small player in the computer biz, but by 1996 Apple was interested in NeXTSTEP for the Mac. The rest is history. It was one of the greatest 'rise/fall/RISE' business stories and human stories.

Cool, but a tip, keep the door open while printing if possible , you can easily get a nozzle clogged if you don't. I ha dthat problem the first week. Was stressfull as a nooby to have to fix that problem.

I just had this exact problem. It was caused by me not seating the processor bucket 100% into the base. Quite a bit of plastic pebbles had collected in the base and was interfering w/ the fit. This in turn lifted the bowl rim just enough so that the scoop would not hit its full retracted position. This caused it to bind and make a series of popping sounds. This ended up being the interior gears of the processor skipping and eventually stripping. After that, the scoop would get hung up on the teeth, just like yours, since the stripped gears could not generate the torque anymore. I had to send the processor into Cat Genie to get the gears replaced. It took about 10 days total. You can test for this in your diagnostic settings under function 1. Extend and retract the scoop fully. It should go up and down completely, without hanging up, w/ no popping sounds at the full top or bottom of its motion.

So jealous!
