27 x 41 Films is an independent film company run by Jim Fields in Lincoln, Nebraska. Our mission is to make documentaries about the history, culture, and life in the midwest. Named after the dimensions of the classic one sheet movie poster, 27 x 41 Films has produced the short documentary, "Time To Shine," about the Nebraska rock band, Ivory Star, and is currently in production on "Prairie Rockers," a comprehensive music documentary about Nebraska rock bands that played original music, from 1956-1979. Earlier documentaries include "Preserve Me a Seat," and the award-winning, "Bugeaters."

I hope to own a DVD of this.
YES!! It was always the highlight of the school year in Lyons (where Dave and Donette are from) when Street Legal played at prom. I even thought New Girl Now was one of their own songs! When I found out about Ivory Star I had to figure out how or when I'd come back north from Arkansas to get an album. Of course, it was Homers Records where I'd get them. Unfortunately, living down here in Arkansas I never got to see Ivory Star live. I will definitely be watching this.

The Chevrons were very popular in this area when I was in high school!
This film was so well made. Sad to lose those theatre BUT some of us are still working to save others!
