How to use MIDI to control patches and effects on your Boss GX-100 with Logic Pro X
When I play live my and uses click tracks to stay in time. I have recorded MIDI tracks in time with these click tracks and the MIDI data controls all of my GX-100 patches and effects - once the show starts I never have to push a single pedal.
In this video I do my best to show you how to use Logic Pro X to send MIDI signals to your GX-100 to control your patches and effects.
I hope you find this helpful, let me know if you did. Any feedback greatly appreciated. Please like and subscribe - more GX-100 and tribute band related content to follow.
Take a second to check out my band - Explosive Light Orchestra - www.explosivelightorchestra.co.uk
I made this using a a MacBook Pro with its internal microphone and an iPhone 14 Pro on a tripod with its internal microphone.
Big thanks to @ScottUhlMusic and @JaredGunstonTV whose videos helped me to figure out this stuff.
