so many videos have the patient lateral recumbant, but i get better results the way you are doing it.

I was 34 years old i had same place your touching pain for 15 years whatever it was nerve/muscles pain i underwent acupuncture treatment first time doing it i went into cardiac arrest for a few seconds more like a minute or 2 and sweating like crazy when i gained consciousness. immediately Doctor called 911 i was rushed to a trauma center, i have never felt like this ever in my life like as i was dying but god was on my side that day and made a full recovery 6 months later so many er stays doctor visits i "NO LONGER HAVE BACK PAIN" i live pain free everything is numb on my back same place this video is showing. :) im blessed to this day i believe accupunture hit a NERVE runs straight to my brain, everything went black i could hear but couldnt see very scary experience i went back to see the Acupuncturist a year later to actually thank him he worked a miracle on me almost coused me my life but im here today to tell you IT ACTUALLY WORKS LOL I KNOW WHAT IT IS TO HAVE BACK PAIN EVERY SECOND EVERY MINUTE ECERY DAY FOR 15 YEARS. I WISH ALL OF YOU GOING THROUGH IT PAIN FREE !! BEST REGARDS TONY 2024
OMG speak up please
external jugular... not external carotid...
He fixed that later in video- but good to note ! I was curious about that at first too
It’s Acupuncture.
Nope…acupuncture is sub-cutaneous ..in this here the needle is in the muscle
Dry needling is actually acupuncture. It’s a term they came up with the physical therapists and such could needle without getting an acupuncture license. It doesn’t have all the theory of acupuncture - it’s more based just on trigger points etc. Acupuncture has many techniques and goes to various depths. In acupuncture we needle muscles and also energetically work spots to help the body heal itself
This hurts like a MF
Excellent 👍
Not one piston or twitch. Amazing video ...
Ooooo lord have mercy
Wtf
I think he might hit the sciatic nerve
I've never seen someone leave the needles in like that. Usually it's insertion, manipulation and immediate removal.
Sir my ehl tandon was cut and operated 55 day ago so can I walk now or not
Is this risky cause of windpipe and nerves nearby?
great thanks
Show us for glutes medius knots twitch
I am having surgery for a partial tear on Thursday through the bottom of my foot. Do you have any recommendations for healing or can you give me any information on what that will kind of look like
The draping needs to be right out of the way so we can see where you are
very precise operator !
How many times the dry needling do?
Great video, thanks!
How does this help ?
Seems like scalene issues can cause splenius cervicis tightness and pain. Front side to back. I need acupuncture bad
If the muscle doesn't twitch than has he trigger point been missed?
1:46
Really good and educational explanation. Thumb up! 👍
This is exactly what I need my PT for this week.
Please upload for palpation techniques
wanted to ask can this help if you feel discomfort wearing a shirt
Needle size???
He said 30mm
Why avoiding sciatic nerve ...needle can be done at nerve also
Hi great video. What vertebrae level are you needling here for the superior trigger point of levator ? Thanks
You're da man bro. Good explanation
Do it prone. Works better
Too large of a needle you didn’t do much.
What do you mean too "large" ? The gauge or the length ? Please explain thank yoy
just say again what condition this is for please. TY
what´s up with the camera? You turned it the wrong way!!
Exactly where you place the needle, is where I have a hard tissue. What could this be?
This is Muscle tension of neck extensor muscles
I get a sharp prickly pain in the back of my head when my PT dry needles my right sub occipital muscles
Acupuncture!
Youre good at what you do
Call it what it is...Acupuncture!
Acupuncture is tied to meridians, and that concept. This is a muscular view, with a deep connection to muscular anatomy.
what length needle are you using?
20mm
I've got bad pain in my tibualus posterior years now comes and goes if I run even 200m the pain is bad for hours sometimes days. I've had a me and cortisone injection but to no luck the fri said I've a sack of fluid around my tedon and tendon is raw?? how do I fix this
Hey Nathan. I liked this video a lot - thanks for sharing your work! Are you a PT? LMT? Other? I have very severe chronic pain and muscle dysfunction of my trapezius/levator scapulae. I have had cervical injections put in by my physiatrist, I get regular chiropractic adjustments, regular massage therapy (only very deep tissue massage in this region for 60-90 minutes), and do my own work on this region daily. One thing I do is to self-knead this area daily, and I have also been self-dry needling this area (like at 2:30 in your video), but I use a slightly longer needle and often leave the needle in the affected area(s) for 5-10 minutes, depending on the symptoms of the day. One of roots of my problem is my loss of cervical lordosis. I have a completely straight neck (X-ray and MRI evidence - it's been like this for almost 20 years now). It was on the verge of actually curving the opposite direction, but I've been working on exercises and changing my sleep habits which hasn't helped reverse the damage (yet?) but it has prevented things from progressing and getting worse. I was wondering what kind of "self-help" tips you had for someone in my position. I really enjoy and benefit from dry needling and deep-kneading/massage. I don't want to stop doing that. But what else can I add, or do you suggest I try some new or different techniques based on what I wrote above? Looking forward to hearing back from you. Thanks again, Nathan!
Where is the trigger point for the suboccipital capitus major muscle?
