The Road to Shumbulak 1 | Almaty, Kazakhstan
Climbing the road to Shumbulak from Medeu was a little tough and I was breathing quite hard. Unfortunately, my Camea's microphone picked it all up and ruined the nature walk. So, to compensate, I placed some soft music to cover it up. I am very sorry for using random music on this video and hope it adds to the feeling of being there and not distract you from enjoying it.
Climbing Medeu up to Shumbulak is very difficult for those who are not used to hiking or mountain climbing but it is worth it. Medeu is a popular tourist destination all year round and is a favorite place for the locals to go ice skating during the winter. In warm temperatures, it is very beautiful and green. Today you will how green the Moutains are, how clean the air is and how friendly the locals are.

"Kazakhstan, officially the Republic of Kazakhstan, is a landlocked country mostly in Central Asia, with a part in Eastern Europe. It borders Russia to the north and west, China to the east, Kyrgyzstan to the southeast, Uzbekistan to the south, and Turkmenistan to the southwest, with a coastline along the Caspian Sea. Its capital is Astana, while the largest city and leading cultural and commercial hub is Almaty. Kazakhstan is the world's ninth-largest country by land area and the largest landlocked country. It has a population of 20 million and one of the lowest population densities in the world, at fewer than 6 people per square kilometre.Ethnic Kazakhs constitute a majority, while ethnic Russians form a significant minority. Officially secular, Kazakhstan is a Muslim-majority country, although ethnic Russians in the country form a sizeable Christian community."
"Almaty, formerly known as Alma-Ata , is the largest city in Kazakhstan, with a population of over two million. It was the capital of Kazakhstan from 1929 to 1936, while the country was an autonomous republic of the Soviet Union, then from 1936 to 1991, a union republic and finally from 1991, an independent state. In 1997, the government relocated the capital to Akmola (now called Astana)"

    good reasons. Perhaps you will be interested in a documentary film about the formation of socialism in central Asia - Документальный фильм "Ловцы солнца". This is a very good job with a lot of details that are difficult to find just on the Internet. It is of course in Russian, but automatic subtitles can be translated into English and, in principle, good language practice))

    A lovely tour of this beautiful park on a perfect day 🤩 8 mins into the video and this section of the park reminds me a very big park that I used to walk in when I lived in Canberra. I loved that place 🥰. Those gorgeous mountains in the background however - nothing that grand as the backdrop to my park! Only hills as a background where I walked. It made me feel a bit wistful actually, as I don't live there anymore 🥺 I didn't expect that feeling from a video of Kazakhstan! @19:38 lovely view! 😍💚💙☀🏞🌲🌳🌳🌲🌿🌞🌼🌷🌱⛲🏔 Thank you for sharing your video.

    Good on you! I wish you success with your studies. I prefer to enjoy Eastern culture too. Btw, it is so rude when people exclude others from conversation by speaking in a different language. I understand when it is sometimes necessary, but in an otherwise friendly context it creates such awkwardness if they are deliberately leaving someone else out. I guess it would be a bit of fun, to be able to do that back to people who excluded you, lol ... but be wary that you don't create the same situation for another nice person. I am learning Russian too. It is a difficult language for me, but beautiful, my favourite! 🥰 I'm interested to see more. Liked. Commented. Subscribed. 🙂

      Greetings! Yes, if it helps with motivation, then why not?!! In real life situations, you probably wouldn't do it, unless the other people had already been treating you that way. It's a kind of ... fun idea to have a "secret" language. I actually know a rude person that I'm tempted to try that with one day 🤔🤨so maybe it will become a part of my motivation too 😂!?! I like your list, many good reasons for learning Looking forward to the next video. Thank you! 😊

    Your liking comments criticizing someone's mental health for their political views shows how poorly educated you are about the history of this region and even your own country's history. You are exactly the kind of bigot I see who criticizes people from the "South" or other regions of the USA and calls them uneducated and prejudiced when you are clearly all these things yourself. Makes me wonder why you dislike America so much, perhaps the problem is YOU. Stop projecting your own biases on the people from other countries. Maybe read a history book or two instead of relying on internet propaganda and your clubbing friends.

    Chasing money is all good and fine to afford comfortable livelihood. But many become too obsessed that they sacrificed morals and wellbeing of others. We see in Korea, some parts China, Japan and Singapore, despite being modern many people cannot afford a family. They are in ever working hell. Malaysia must not become like this. Slow growth is better so that we can balance morality and wealth.

    for your knowledge, the Malay nation is the most tolerant nation in the world. Where is there a country where the majority of its people want to share power with foreign immigrants when Malaysia became independent and the Malaysian government gave them automatic citizenship at that time. And they are given full freedom to do business and practice their own religion. They also set up schools for their own people. Where is there any other country that will give freedom to Minorities in this world. They now control the economy. These people are ungrateful and do not want to assimilate with the majority race which is the Indigenous People of Malaysia. They do not want to learn the national language of Malaysia, that is Bahasa Melayu. Hope you understand yes

    • @nikhassan7713
      @nikhassan7713 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      To correct the fact, its not Malays that setting up the Chinese Mandarin and Indian Tamil schools (vernacular schools) as all of them were private schools back then supported by their communities, and it exists to cater immigrants children but the curriculum they used same as their homelands (China and India). Then British monitored closely the schools mostly Chinese that embracing Communist ideologies. Then after independence the schools were retained as part of conditions, however, the curriculum have to be the same/standardized for all schools in Malaysia, and Malay language is a compulsory subject to pass in major exams. The Malaysian government at that time decided to take integration process rather than assimilation so other races could embrace their language, culture, religions freely. Unlike neighbouring countries Thailand and Indonesia other races have to assimilate with locals and all races are equal, and Malays people not willing to giving up their status as 'owner of the land' (Tuan Tanah) and have some privileges as Bumiputra. To say those ungrateful is unfair as its happened due to the system took by our forefathers 'integration of multicultural society' and not assimilation and it is part of independence negotiation process with British as British government known for 'divide and rule' system, segregation of races based on their jobs and professions to maintain their power. Malaysian situation is complex and unique. To have One Bangsa Malaysia where all races is equal will not be accepted by majority of Malays, and for Chinese and Indians to assimilate with locals is already too late and we cannot force other races to become Malays. In addition Malays only 60% of population, and before Malaysia was established, in Malaya (Semenanjung Tanah Melayu) the ratio is equal Malays and non Malays, hence the Federation of Malaysia was proposed for Sarawak, Sabah and Singapore to join , in order to balance the demographic at that time.

    • @lololo-cy2eu

      How ridiculous. Sabah and Sarawak don't even want to join Malaysia in the first place and they have their own school system and indigenous culture. Hope they can secede from Malaysia and become independent soon.
