Ehh, honestly I've hosted parties and not made my friends pay for food because honestly, it doesn't happen that often in my case. I guess it does depend on circumstance but usually home parties I've been to/hosted are free for guests but outings you pay your own way unless the host has stated otherwise. I can't really say that they're an asshole in this case but I guess if you're really that short on money, thank them for the offer but explain that you can't afford it.

YTA. This person IS informing them ahead of time, that's what this conversation is. I don't see why people would expect to pay their own way at a restaurant but the moment somebody offers to host, suddenly the host is expected to cover everything.

sounds like YTA. it's not that friend's party in the first place, but the whole group's party that he's volunteering to host. for you to pitch in is not even something he should've asked to you, but something you should ask him first whether there's something you can help him about hosting the party

i would recommend improving the quality of the videos. i don't know how much effort you put in or if you are automating it , but i assure you that with just a little more and help with the algorithm you can get more feedback. first the quality of the sound, you can easily find better sounding ai voice. the video quality quality. you can tell that the variety and quality of the clips is bad. remove the hashtags and put them in the comments. longer videos for more watch time.
