So if Yeshua in Hebrew spelling is also Esav…messianics that end their prayers “in the merit of Yeshua” should not be doing so? What are your thoughts?

Exodus 12 says, “But if a stranger sojourns with you, and celebrates the Passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near to celebrate it; and he shall be like a native of the land. But no uncircumcised person may eat of it. The same law shall apply to the native as to the stranger who sojourns among you.” I don’t know how you can say the same requirements are not for the non Jew or non Israelite. This in my opinion is one problems with the perspective of the Jews. In my opinion it seems clear to me that the Jews generally add to Torah and the Christians take away from Torah. Both positions are in error according to Torah. Torah meaning 5 Books of Moses. There is no partiality with Elohim. If He had different laws for different people than that would express that he is partial. These are contradictory positions. Noahide laws and them applying to gentiles, this is not according to Torah either. Pasty Acts 15 right after James ruling dies he say, “For Moses from ancient generations has in every city those who preach him, since he is read in the synagogues every Sabbath.” In other words the gentiles as they grew in knowledge and understanding, learnt Torah every sabbath were to walk in the righteousness given only in Torah! Where else is righteousness defined? Paul makes this clear in Romans, sin and righteousness is defined by Torah and only Torah! The new covenant in Jer 31 & Ezek 26 clearly says the Torah will be written on our hearts. You are a gifted and very knowledgeable man and I appreciate you, but in these areas you are in error.

Years ago I was asked what was my favorite parasha. I responded Vayeira because of the amazing message of the akedah. Thank you for helping me see this event more clearly from a Jewish perspective. The torah of elevation, ascending to love HaShem above all else, even our own lives or family, giving what is most precious to Hashem, thus drawing near to the higher consciousness, via obedience with bitul, resulting in self aliyah and ultimately even self and world transformation!
