100% bikers fault. I see in the comments people blaming the car for being in the wrong lane, but, if that is the case, so is the biker. The biker tried to exit without a clear passage. The car is entitled to go all the way around a roundabout in the outside lane. Exiting a roundabout from the outside lane like this biker is fraught with danger. Never assume where other vehicles are going based on the lane they are in. Drivers are not predictable. They fuck up all the time.

Brush up on your Filtering Law. Plod can and will nick you for how you rode on the Dual Carriageway. Generally speaking, stationary traffic is fine, moving traffic is an offence and crawling traffic is a grey area. Also, consider the safety aspect. If you clip a vehicle or vice versa and you go down, you are far more likely to end up under the wheels of a vehicle in the next lane over. All this from one biker to another. I know people whose deaths could've been completely avoidable.

Stick to your day job. Less singing, more paying attention to the road. 😅 Joking aside, personally, I ride like no one would see me, and I have to anticipate every driver's last second thoughts. So far it worked well. Hope you're okay and not too much damage on the bike !

I saw a guy get killed on a motorcycle right in front of my eyes. It bothered me for months. The motorcyclist was in his 50s, I think he should have known a little better. I was behind a four-wheel drive and we're both turning right. I heard the bike come up the hill at speed. The four-wheel drive started to go then stopped and then went. At the same time i heard the bike instantly back off the accelerator then hear it again full. I haven't read a buy for years but there's no way I would have accelerated, I would have actually hit the brakes. The most motorcycles hit the ball bar square with the middle of front of his helmet. He was is dead instantly. I remember seeing those vacant eyes staring up. The woman driver the four-wheel drive was devastated. I'm not 100% sure but I think the male passenger, told her to go. Passengers need to keep quiet.

Im a biker myself, the driver of the green car was in the wrong 100%, however, the biker having seen car cut back across into his path, he could have avoided the collusion too by keeping in the right lane and continue around the round the about having. Some situations are worth avoiding if you can. Life is too short and precious. Hope you recovered well and stay safe on the roads.
