Good to know. Here I was thinking the torque wrenches were a good deal. The Lowes I normally go to didn't even have those so they were new to me. Thanks for the heads-up!

Hopefully your store has that same price for the platform. It does vary by store, even in the same district. Another store that is in the next town over from me has different clearance items and even price markups on gift center items that the other store had on clearance discount. Amazing the difference.

I assume in their tool testing lab. They sit there with the same thickness of wood and just keep cutting it until the battery dies. They probably have another person counting. LOL

Sorry to hear that. If it's only a few months old then you should be able contact the manufacturer to have them replace it. It comes with a year warranty.

@@DIYCrasher I don't think they advertised it and my store had it sorta buried. I found out about it on one of these TH-cam videos. I tried to order it the night before but the order was automatically cancelled. I showed up at 8:00AM to snag one. They had a dozen(ish) of them.

That's a great saw especially for 1/2 price. Hope you can get one.

Good question! Their sales have to be suffering except for my local HD, it's the busiest one in the region, so I've been told. But that is because of all the construction going on in the area due to hurricane damaged homes.

That's odd they have different pricing where you are at. I know typically online will be more expensive because of the shipping. Maybe try Sam's club then. You can watch my latest Costco video I posted today and I show the Costco shelving for $199. They used to have it higher priced at my store. I wouldn't be surprised if all the different stores metal racking was being built in the same factory.

Just before Christmas Costco blew out the Dewalt 2 shelve, and 1 drawer units for $159.

That would be a nice setup to be able to move them around. How did you attach them, with a piece of wood between the metal and castor?

@@DIYCrasher it is great. We are currently moving shelving out of our garage and into a shed we built and being able to roll the units is so nice. Yes, we used wood between the casters and the shelving.

Not sure, it's definitely sold out around my local stores and I just checked on their website and it's sold out there as well. Hopefully it will come back before the sale ends the beginning of February. You could always to do the tool hack and just get the two tool combo kit with free tool then return the 2 tool kit and keep the free tool at the discounted price.

You did the right thing. I returned a $1 bolt I didn’t pay for. I went outside to my truck and someone hit and ran. Almost $4000 in damage. Seems like no good deed goes unpunished.

Wow that's crazy! I'd think that is illegal, sounds like a loan shark kind of behavior.

It happens with other Credit Cards too, happened twice to me. However, you can fix this. Call them and let them know the date you paid the full amount and they should refund the money. ​@DIYCrasher

Sad to hear that. I only use my credit union’s credit card. Every other one has ridiculous rates and fees. Regular banks should be illegal.
