    Thanks Robert for this -- very helpful, although I am still running into an issue with resolving the name-value pairs. The HTML in the received email contains an HTML table with two columns, name on the left and value on the right. The parser is unable to pull data from it. Have you heard of this issue?

    • @robertthedukefedoruk5607
      @robertthedukefedoruk5607 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't believe the parser is built to do that. It interprets name value pairs as being strings on separate lines.. Name1:Value1 Name2:Value2 Its not parsing through HTML.

      You haven't described the problem. I suspect its this. The DateTime is probably being picky about format. The Reference field is looking for a sys_id, which the email isn't sending, so you may have to do a lookup based on the name that hte email sends you in order to find the sys_id.

      Look up record doesn't have the Count property. You COULD interrogate the Status property to see if its "success", but I find the count is both simpler to understand AND more flexible (because you could be looking for more than one result OR exactly 0)

    So, as an Admin, I want to create my own navigation menu, separate from favourites. But I don't want other Admins seeing it. As you pointed out, adding 'admin' to the hidden roles will hide it from them and me. Even if I have the Visible Roles set to a bespoke role I have. Do you have a workaround for this by any chance? Also, I'm finding that modules you add must be on the top layer of an application menu or they will not show. e.g. "System Logs > System Log > All" cannot be added, as it's two layers deep. I've found myself duplicating the modules and putting them in an Admin application which is less than ideal. Any suggestions around that would also be appreciated.

    We have an M2M table that is not part of the exempted table (ua_exempted_table_inventory), and I can see it is listed under ua_custom_table_inventory. That means it needs a license. However, as per our requirements, I should delete the old M2M table and create a new one that should not require a license; it should be part of the Exempted Table inventory. I followed and created new M2M table but still it is no part of exempted inventory list , can i help me how to do that?

      I THINK I understand the problem, but I'm not 100% sure there's a solution. From what Docs says on exempted tables, I don't think its something you can just decide: docs.servicenow.com/bundle/washingtondc-platform-administration/page/administer/subscription-management/reference/grandfathered-and-exempt-tables-v2.html
