On our channel you will find us mushroom hunting, hiking, fishing here in the Pacific Northwest, making all kinds of things from processing material on our Woodmizer sawmill to a project or turning something on the wood lathe. We have honey bees, chickens, ducks, rabbits and cats and love working in the garden, shop or wondering somewhere on the property.

Good tip for cutting short piece 👍👍👍
Never heard "rizzula". Russila.. but i guess it's potato potato kind of situation
Yes each person seems to say it differently that’s for sure.
I just tried to say the name of that mushroom the same way you did and haha real funny a hole now my furniture is floating
da gang is bout to be rollinnnn 🤪🔥💯💙
@ruggedtcountry thanks for the lesson
What size material are you using here? How tall is the candy cane?
It looks like a 1x1 inch railing spindle. That pink cloth he laid it on looks to be a standard size of paper towel or shop cloth...so 12 inches approx. I'm guessing 30° angle cuts?
It is 1.5” x1.5”material, with 22.5 degree miter cuts. The cane is 12” long.
22.5 cuts.
Looks kinda like a scat. Like little shiny goat turds glued into a Christmas tree shape.
Edible
Where are you? Can you eat it?
The pacific coast and it is a Russula which is better kicked than picked.
What were you hoping it was? @ruggedtcountry
Minimo😢😮
I just found about a dozen caps on the road, what should I do with them now?
I like how quiet this is with the soft crinkling, very calming
You should touch those unless you're sure they're like safe or actually good
Simply handling mushrooms is fine. Just don't eat a mushroom you haven't 100% identified. Maybe don't lick your fingers right afterwords either.
Why dah hell anybody needs that much pepper 😳
Can that be eaten?… This guy gives no information 🙄
Yes a lobster mushroom can be eaten it is the lobster fungus taking over Russula which is also edible but some people say not much flavor others say they are very good.
That’s poisonous
Are these real or fake😳
They are real, found in the pacific coast forest.
😳unbelievable
Its all the big rock candy mountain.
❤that sound of the woods nothing like that
I keep expecting some strange and scary being to step out. But it's great. I'm from the sticks. I love thunder and lightning. I love the birds and nature sounds.
Thanks for this video. My bit just fell out on a cut and all the teeth from the 1/4” adapter fell out in 6 different pieces. I never looked at the 1/4” adapter very closely and I wasn’t sure what happened. Turns out the piece sheared itself apart! Now I know what to replace, cheers
Certainly edible but also toxic
We have never tried them but they have to be cooked very well from what David Arora says.
2nd
Mmm mountain seafood
Lobster, baby!!!!❤
First Here!
Don't know that one
Page 78 in David Arora’s mushroom pocket guide. It is not recommended to eat.
Look alikes poison.
looks yummy
If that is growing out of wood, then it appears to be an admirable bolete, which are edible.
Those don’t look like penny buns, more like something in the genus Suillus
We are still pretty new, our other thought is they are slippery Jack’s what do you think?
@@ruggedtcountry Possibly, Slippery Jacks are in the genus Suillus
Now if I know anything about alchemy, that there you got is Blisterwort. Mix it with some wheat and you got yourself a healing potion
Those are cool.. some kind of hedgehog or something? I'm totally new at this but i love it
We believe they are some kind of polypore. It was our first time seeing them and we are still learning too.
Those strawberries look amazing! KH 2024 😂

The tag says it is Autumn’s Choice Winter Squash
