My family and I splurged and did the business class from Panama to Washington DC. I was a bit dissappointed cause you could only recline like 3 inches. But the seats were roomy and pretty comfy to sleep on. We saw the first class from Dulles to Panama and I was hoping they were the ones that we got on the reverse leg. But totally ok. Still worth the comfort and my husky size husband loved the extra space and room.

The new Business Class of Air France 🇫🇷 is far more better when I flew recently from Manila to Paris Charles de Gaulle on their Airbus A350-900 it was a 14hr direct nonstop flight, it's like having your own private space. Enjoyed the finest in French gastronomy with exquisite menus created by Michelin starred chefs and the finest wines selected by their Sommelier Xavier Thuizat. Air France flight AF 209 leaves Manilla every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 9:50pm arrive at Paris Charles de Gaulle at 5:50am Central European Time next day.

Just watch out for spawn peeks on west spawn

I watched your video because i was considering the new direct flight from Seattle and making it my new airline. Sorry to say that after watching this video, i will be sticking with EVA unless PAL does some serious upgrades.

Not comfortable in a Bussiness class seating!

I flew PAL Business Class a no of times. I was treated poorly by the Chief Purser and cabin attendants; unless you’re a celebrity, a rich businessman or a foreigner, I was nothing to the flight crew staff aka preferentially treated!!

Can one get to this airport by public transport from Metro Manila? Is Qatar’s partner lounge at Clark now ready? It seems like the other disadvantage besides distance from Manila is you won’t be able to use Cathay’s lounge, which is arguably the best at MNL airport. But the upside is you won’t have to worry about getting Qatar-ed for this flight as it is a 787 they use. It’s better than their 2-2-2 abreast 77W.

2-3-2 in business class is just ridiculous

This December it's going to be Bonjour Paris, as the latest news that Air France 🇫🇷 is returning to the Philippines with direct nonstop flights to Manila from Paris Charles De Gaulle making it easier for European visitors and business people flying to the Philippines and for us Schengen Visa holders who regularly travel to Europe 🇪🇺. We're the only country in Asia with no direct flights to Europe and will soon change, hopefully we can see Lufthansa, British Airways, Swiss International, ITA Airways (Italia Transporto Aereo) successor to the now defunct Alitalia could return to the Philippines again. It's "Au Revoir ' to layovers when flying to Europe 🇪🇺.

I had a business lunch there hosted by my Russian business partner. The food, the service and the ambiance was remarkable! Unfortunately, it is n longer possible for an American or European to experience.

I always fly Qantas business class and especially love the A 330-200. I fly Syd to Denpasar 3x a year . Regardless of what people say I still prefer to fly Qantas.

The worst planes to fly on the service is pathetic as for the plastic food that makes me throw up Qantas is now one of the worst airlines to fly on they didn't make the top 20 airlines for service it really has reached rock bottom like nth Korea airlines it now considered as the worst airline Thanks to the CEOs who ran it to the ground for profit The new CEO is no better than Alan Joyce sack her now.

Flew to Manila from California on economy, very good and pleasant experience, thumbs up to PAL Airlines. Also very comfortable at NAIA,,,that was 2022, will retire in 2025 there, looking forward to it!!!

Flew PAL Business Class, LAX/MNL R/T with wife few months back. The A-lounge in Manila Terminal 1 was a joke. Typhoon hit Manila day before we left. Our flight trail the typhoon after reaching Taiwan. Rough turbulence nonstop from there until just before Seattle. The 'Angle Bed' dangling 2/3 way down, and hit the floor board with every dip and turbulence. Wife's IFE never worked, even after flight attendent reset. The 2-3-2 configuration leave no room between seats for accessories. Several passengers had their cellphone slipped under the seat during flight. My included. Had to wait for aircraft mechanic to come on board at Manila to take the seat apart to retrieve the phone. Can't leave without it. All immigration data were loaded on the phone. $11,000 for second class flight. So glad UNITED now have nonstop SFO-MNL. Their 777-300 Business Class are configured 1-2-1 with plenty of space. Most importantly, they have '180 degree' flat bed. There R/T fare is $4900. Sorry PAL. UNITED SFO-MNL my choice for Philippine from now on.

1-2-1 is way better. I flew LAX to MNL on the 2-2 configuration and I hated having to crawl over the guy sitting next to me, that was laid out in their flat bed sleeping, every time I needed to use the CR.

I mainly travel to Europe and PAL doesn't have any direct flights to Europe at all still go to Hong Kong, Bangkok or Singapore to catch a connecting flight my favourite is Lufthansa, I used to fly with them until they ceased flying to Manila in 2008 and recently took the A380 flight to Frankfurt from Singapore and then on the return flight via Singapore Airlines on the same aircraft. I recently read that Lufthansa is making a comeback to the Philippines and they will launch direct non stop flights to Manila from Frankfurt hope it materializes as at present we don't have any direct flights to Europe from the Philippines.

Extremely good food, and the service is probably from the best in Europe. Tough, no longer in Europe I guess. It's so sad to see that such excellent food and service will only be offered to Putins shit people and his nazi companions. Looking forward to a free Russia where we can all meet and enjoy this quality of food and service!!!!!

Looking at this seems a bit dated. What are some other airline options for business class at the same price point but with direct access and better seats/amenities ? Flying from YVR Canada to Manila/Cebu
