Here's a couple of clips I managed to record during Tropical Storm Isaias path near Puerto Rico.
During Wednesday, July 29, the system moved mostly wes, south of Puerto Rico, without obtaining tropical storm status, contrary to what forecast models had predicted. Because of this, most people thought that the storm would be gone without affecting the island. However, during the night, Isaias started moving northwest while also being classified as a tropical storm and, past midnight, the system got close to Puerto Rico. While the center of the storm never made landfall, it got close enough for the entire island to feel tropical storm conditions early morning on July 30.
Many places saw flooding and downed trees, with most of the island having power outages. At my location, the power outage lasted 3 days. This storm taught us a lesson showing that you can't lower your guard with these systems until they're really gone.
