Preternatural Strategy is 100% AI generated. Look at the perspective on the Eagle on his chest; it's slanted such that if he were standing straight towards the camera, it would be crooked.

Except for that card, it is very strong to trigger both strategies. Like the 2e troop will gain 3/3, or the warlord that gains attack everytime you trigger strategy.

It is not yet out and I hate that card

@voquangminhnguyen3193 it works with some yes, but it's a bit of an odd design to have a legendary card give pointless effects. That 3 energy rare is very good, but in a strategy deck the bit strategy tactical card has no effect on it...

Agreed and it'll synergize nicely with cards that refresh Duty abilities.

Yeah, just kind of a one time use around e3 or e4 to get a turn of protection for something important to stick on the board a turn

It's also a nice way to put a roadblock up that covers another unit you deploy, for free.

there's probably a deck that resets the warlords duty every round. even if not, it's still a free unit

Isn't duty a singular use ability? I think ordinance would have worked a bit better.

It makes perfect sense if you've ever run into buff stackers. Basically, if the Custodes are getting outplayed, it gives them some comeback potential, although I'd expect this sort of thing more from the Sisters of Silence than the Custodes. As for the 8-drop? It's a board clear that keeps the biggest threat, i.e. the one most likely to trigger more Nemesis effects, in play. So it makes sense, even if it might not be competitively viable, although it might see some niche use against factions that like to protect their troops with stealth, precognition, ward, shield, drop pod, survivor, bastion and any other defensive keywords, or otherwise would want the Custodes to interact with them in combat like the Death Guard or World Eaters. And it's not as bad for a Custodes player to clear their own board because they generally try to stick to one troop at a time to mitigate Sentinel unless they're going all-in, and you're probably only playing it when your board is already dead.

@@Brutalyte616 Hearthstone used to have the spell for 6 mana with the same effect ( keeps two biggest minion for bothside) and never be play because it is too weak. This card cost even more no way it can be play because high chance is your opponent have lethal next turn. Nemesis suck because Custodian usually have big attack already. Now you even need your opponent has a bigger minion on board... unless the nemesis effect is Destroy a enemy unit, there is no comeback. They just freaking do good trade or slam your face next turn with their big boy In general the remake suck ass . even weaker than the current cards

I should know, I rock around gold and diamond rank as a F2P user, and the Hearthstone ladder is often the most toxic, min-maxed, unfun nonsense I've seen outside of Tier 0 Yu-Gi-Oh, where you will literally lose Turn 1 if your opponent knows what they're doing, not because you surrendered to them because they got so far ahead, but because they won the game before you even managed to take your turn. -I swear to God, if they don't nerf Reno and Zilliax I'm bowing out of the Hearthstone ladder until the next set rotation...- Nemesis is a potential comeback mechanic, but frankly I see this less as a case of 'Custodes need Nemesis' and more 'Sisters of Silence need Nemesis, and so we're planning on having them be able to borrow Custodes cards and potentially vice versa in the coming updates and future-proofing them now by adding in a small number of seemingly useless Custodes cards that are totally irrelevant to the meta right now but will break the game wide open when the Sisters get their rework.' And bear in mind the Terminator's effect is a Rally, not a Nemesis effect, so the highest attack enemy troop might not have much attack in the grand scheme of things and might not even be able to kill the Terminator on its own. So it's a situational board clear that's intended to deal with fringe cases like Thousand Sons shield or precognition spam, Raven Guard and Night Lords hiding behind stealth, or just as a response to swarm decks that might pose an issue if you otherwise didn't have non-targeting troop removal options, which is something the Custodes have been somewhat lacking and tends to cause them problems when the predominant meta can be described as 'Haha! You can't touch me! You're not allowed to play the game! Nana-nana-boo-boo!' Which is the most frustrating, and sadly often the most powerful strategy on the ladder in most games... On a personal note? Fuck Elusive, fuck Ward, fuck perma-Stealth, and fuck Duplicitous too while we're at it... Now, is this all competitively viable? I doubt it, but there's an obvious design philosophy behind the card that makes perfect logical sense, even if it's a niche use that might not be terribly relevant in the meta. So don't say 'this doesn't make sense' and then not expect someone to give you a reasonable argument about the logic behind it and why it would still see some play regardless of the meta. After all, SOMEBODY is going to find a use for it, and unless you're a sweaty P2W try-hard with more money than sense to blow on gems for rerolls, you can't really afford to pick what you get in drafts for the lodge events, so you might get stuck with one of these cards and have to make it work for you in a few days. Also, you're ignoring the Exemplar stuff that was already revealed for Custodes, so don't dismiss the whole rework like Raziel did.
