Wonderful music and an inspired performance by Theodore Kerkezos. Crisp and with a broad range of emotions. The text that is obviously placed at specific points in the music adds a lot to the understanding of the composer's intentions. Who wrote it and was the original in French? Anyway, where is the clown?

В основе этого произведения лежит взятая Томази история о клоуне и было очень интересно увидеть развернутый,грамотно положенный на музыку рассказ.

This Tomasi's piece of music is unique and so virtuously performed by T.Kerkezos. I find it also a great idea to create this kind of narration that interprets the music into a role play between the saxophone ("the clown") and the orchestra ("the audience"), with such a good dramatic structure that makes us imagine.
