Why did they add a bunch of heavy guitars?? This track was always meant to be 90s industrial. So tired of them thinking Shadow's image is heavy metal it always used to be industrial.

Chaos Island Act 1 from Sonic X Shadow Generations' Original Soundtrack is, without a doubt, complete and utter garbage. This remixed version of the original theme from the game has managed to ruin what was once a beloved piece of music, turning it into an unrecognizable mess of dubstep and electronic noise. The original Chaos Island movements had a majestic and powerful orchestral tone that perfectly captured the epic nature of the island. The new version, however, completely abandons this grandeur in favor of a chaotic cacophony of dubstep beats and synths that clash with each other in a jarring and unpleasant way. The dubstep elements are far worse than the original's orchestral tone, as they lack the depth and progression that made the original theme so memorable. Not only is the use of dubstep in Chaos Island Act 1 a poor choice, but the composition and structure of the new version are also horribly made. The transitions between different sections of the song are abrupt and disjointed, making it difficult to follow the flow of the music. The melodies are repetitive and lack any sense of progression or development, leaving the listener feeling confused, unsatisfied, unpleasant, and just overall fell horrible. Overall, Chaos Island Act 1 is a prime example of how not to remix a beloved piece of music. By abandoning the original orchestral tone in favor of dubstep, the new version loses the epic and emotional impact of the original theme.
