What was your tuning here?!
Beautiful.
Sounds great! Thank you for sharing!
The beginning of all things is important Love 💘
I have come late to the party but I think your playing is fantastic. 8 years later, are you still playing. I hope so.
Just heard this song from Greg Adams at Mideast Banjo Camp last week. Super old funk for sure. You have a nice rendition. Between some TH-cam videos and the sheet music I think I have it down.
Love this. I am learning to play clawhammer on my ukulele and having a go at it. Thanks for sharing.
Lovely
Alright! (in the mood)
Beautiful!
Absolutely love this. I see a near infinity of community-and-character-building values being taught, being learned, and being reinforced by all the beautiful kids having the opportunity here to participate. If only the rest of the world could just follow suit.
Thank you Ms. Wellman. OPC is doing wonderful for our kids. They learn a lot and it's a safe, healthy and intelligent way to spend their Saturdays.
This is my favorite version of this song! I've been looking for something like this forever! I absolutely love it!
Thanks for your comment, Ruth. Tell me more about what you like about this version.
Thank you for sharing. I found this from a Google search. I'm up here on the 10th flr with the same views and hoping for a speedy recovery.
wow. Very inspiring!!

Wow. <3 fretless banjo. Great playing
This is beautiful music education !
Keep at it, Sis!
Thank you, Sean
Hey Doug, Very cool. Didn't know you played banjo. You sound great man. Cool looking banjo too.
Angela! Just the way you sat on that bench, I knew you was gon' take care o' business! Beautiful! Also great was that you played right next to the piano, & that big-ass skin made the piano sing, too. Thank you! Inspiring!
cool!!
Great Job!!! Nothing better than the Banjo!!!
Great job, Angela! You've got the groove for this funky early banjo tune!!!
Looking forward to more.
Nice!
I love this, especially the end. I learned to play this tune today, my first attempt at minstrel style playing. (I usually play clawhammer) Great sound you have! I hope you are keeping on playing, you sound good.
that was great! thank, :)
You're lookin' a little tight there.. wadaya mean, "Banjo fun"? & that singing, don't you mean, "Fanga Alafia, ashe, ashe??"
What is your banjo tuned to?
Nicely done. The image of you playing banjo here is more important than anything else (to me). Let's sit down for some tea and talk about what requirements you would have for me. I don't play that style of banjo as yet. : ). But it might be fun to explore this instrument with young kids and see what comes out their generation's creative wavelengths. Sule did a Cee-Low tune on his uke-banjo and the kids he worked with loved it!
