Instead of Draino on our pipe system, I use baking soda (pour right on the drain) to push down slightly with a butter knife to move into the pipes then pour white distilled vinegar on it. It fizzes up and moves down into the pipes. You can hear it. I allow it to work for a minute or two, pour boiling water into the drain. I do this every other week in the winter and it freshes the drain too. I hope you are taking Musinex too 🫶

My partner & I bought something similar to use as our kid’s TV stand in his room. The drawers hold a lot more weight than you’d think. Good job building it. I wish I had the motivation to do things like that. I do the cleaning & my partner handles building things & more nitty-gritty tasks.

Be careful with the essential oil scents around cats. Some are toxic to the cats, and droplets can get in the air which transfers to their fur. Then they clean themselves and get sick from it. Not all scents are bad, but be careful where they are placed. 😺😻

A lot of people on social media are extremely judgmental. It's understandable that you wouldn't have a whole lot of time I mean you and your husband both work two jobs you have two kids that have activities, in school and I'm sure you do stuff outside the home as well. So don't judge yourself too harshly. You're place is lived in it's not a show home. I'm 40 now but when I grew up until I left home at 18 my room was pink. And trust me when I tell you I hate the colour. I am very much a tomboy I was 11 we got our own house. I grew up with 13 guys in my neighborhood. I'm still friends with all of them. But I have fairy lights in my apartment. And butterflies everywhere.😂 And I have two cats and have crafts that I've done with my nephews 18 years scattered around my apartment. So maybe let them pick out things that represent them and their side of the room kind of thing. I shared a room with my sister from the time we were little until I was ten and I hated it. Such a girly girl in every way imaginable even though she tried to be a tomboy at one point.. that lasted a few months.. it was funny to watch.. even now she's still really girly.

I think you should get the new Island for the kitchen. It makes sense to have something that can be for storage and useful for extra seating also! It is great to start Spring cleaning to allow us more space, but a reminder of what we have. Today I went through my cabinets and fridge looking for expired dates. Have a great week!
