@Terry808. How come the bosses for all the bus driver workers STOPPED Assighning bus drivers to drive the 40 footer busses on the Route 20???? How come the 40 footer busses are not on the Route 20 Anymore???

Much wider for everybody especially people riding from Makaha and kapolei or express Makakilo

6:51 Some agencies are blocking off the middle seat in the rear to prevent passengers from falling out in case of a sudden stop. It's just like last decade when they changed the ADA guidelines and some agencies ended up permanently flipped up the front facing seat since the forward facing style flip seats were deemed unsafe since there was no way to install a stanchion for sudden stops.

I've heard TheBus Honolulu is planning to retire the Gillig Phantom Buses just recently. It's pretty sad but we all had good times, and it's understandable. Hawaii is aiming for more fuel efficient buses that burn less fuel and emit less emissions. And here's a theory, perhaps after the Gillig Phantoms are stripped of their useful parts and scrapped in the end, they can be reborn as new fuel efficient buses of the future, even as an electric bus. Born as the classic Gillig Phantoms of the 90s, retired in the 2020s, then reborn again as the efficient buses of the future.
