Gotta to admit living in the world and always knowing the importance Iron Man had on the franchise's success it is really noteworthy how they showcased him as more important and trustworthy in a very relative way to how the character allowed the MCU to develop around him. Understanding this isn't RDJs Iron Man and that no other Iron Man was as trusted as the MCUs make sense and this scene feels enjoyable as a return to the comics in such a close comparison. Go back 25 years and the idea that Marvel would have created a high budget single movie with A list actors, directors and writers that was a box office success was not a given and how many comic book nerds had such easier love lifes when Thanos and Spider Man are fully known personas by everyone.
