Just checked the steam page for Bolt Bot, looks curious, some noticeable ratchet and clank influence is definitely there, maybe I'll check it out at some point, need to clear a bit my giant backlog before that though XD. I'm not really a huge platformer fan, sure loved some Sonic on Genesis and Crash bandicoot on PSone, but that is pretty much it, discovered R&C for myself a few months ago and kinda enjoy it, the game is pretty well done for a 2002 PS2 title, now I want to check the rest of the trilogy and maybe other PS2 era platformers, like Jack and Dexter, Sly Cooper, Psychonauts.

A faithful remake would be nice but it also can turn into an open world game with ubi style towers and points of interest with battle royal multiplayer mode, that is the industry right now

Hello there! Thanks for the comment! The biggest problem with Astarion is the fact that people who like him don't care about what kind of character he is, most of the time they are just being horny simps, when I try to chat with them on twitch or scroll through reddit posts their arguments are something along the lines of: "I don't care that Astarion is a hungry for power egoist that deceives his party members and tries to feed on them at night without consent, he looks cute/hot, I love him". There are also a few people who believe that you can't play this game without a rogue, so they just keep him to lockpick stuff and like him for that. Another problem is that Astarion barely has any character arc compared to such party members as Lae'zel or Shadowheart, he stays pretty much the same up until the end of his personal quest in act 3. People often complain that Wyll's story and character are boring, Astarion is not much better in that regard, I'm pretty sure if Larian would swap Astarion with Wyll it would not change much, since people don't care about his story or character, just the looks and silly smooth brain behavior. Karlach suffers from a similar problem - lack of a character arc and good writing. Almost since the moment you meet Karlach she is ready to get intimate: "I want to ride you until you see the starts", if I recall correctly she says that in one of the first camp interactions, the only thing that holds her is the body temperature that you need to fix in a few steps throughout the story - that is her whole story, whole character arc, but people still like her cause she says silly stuff, doing funny fortnite dance while staying idle, looks hot and has kinky mommy energy. All the praise for such characters can harm the industry and media in general, probably already did, there were games with similar problems, like dragon age and mass effect and even before that: why devs would bother writing a good character when they can just slap good looks and silly behaviour on top of some effortless writing and people will love it.

Thanks for the kind comment! The videos are not yet released on YT, but I recently completed Soul Reaver 2 and I'll be finishing Defiance soon. So far, SR1 has been my favorite in the series, and it's really disheartening to see how the Legacy of Kain franchise suffered with the later games. I wish you good luck with the remaster, it could be the best thing to happen to the Legacy of Kain series since SR1.

@@Staselanthropus Thank you my friend, I appreciate. And yes, it'd be awesome to fight the 4 scrapped bosses (The Priestess, Turel, Kain's 3rd fight and the Final Onslaught of Vampires).
