Breton song about the death of Anne of Brittany - Si mort à mors
Si mort à mors - Tri yann
Album - An Héol a zo Glaz - Le Soleil est Vert
Inspired by an anonymous Breton poem, written in French on the occasion of the funeral of Duchess Anne of Brittany. The music chosen by Tri Yann to accompany this poem is that of the traditional Irish song 'An Cailín Rua'.
Anne of Brittany (1477-1514), duchess of Brittany and twice queen consort of France, who devoted her life to safeguarding the autonomy of Brittany within the kingdom of France. Anne succeeded to her father’s duchy on Sept. 9, 1488. The future of the duchy depended on her marriage. In desperation Anne allied herself with Maximilian of Austria. King Charles VIII of France, fearful that Brittany might pass into the hands of a foreign power, attacked it, and Anne was forced in the end to break with Maximilian and marry Charles (Dec. 6, 1491); the process of the union of Brittany with the French crown was thus begun.

Kuin kelpo gentlemanni - Sam Sihvo From the play 'Jääkärin morsian' (Soldier's bride) After hard searched for the lyrics, I decided to made this video because there are currently only few (or none) videos about this song.
This version is a parody in favour of the revolution, not against it.
this song is a pagan parody of the catholic one :/
Excuse me, can I download the video audio? Thanks
Yes you can!
Meanwhile in Finland 1939:
