We walked along the very same promenade in the video in some parts the water was really strong when it was coming up through the paving also the debris on the beach and the decking to the beach bars all gone, yes not very nice but we enjoyed our holiday besides the weather not good, back in May 2025 for 2 weeks.

Even in September and October it is much too crowded in Benalmadena ...

We visited many times to Benalmadena for family holidays 35 years ago and there was nothing in this area, we stayed in Arroya most of the time and the town finished just to the back of Tivoli World and where they hold the market, looking forward to visiting in February 2025 and hope to see all these new places.

Worth to mention is the butterfly park (indoor) across the road from the stupa.

It was much worse after the second storm on 13 Nov. You couldn't get near the sea, and the loungers were empty. We thought the council would at least rake the canes and rubbish into piles so that we could have access to the sea, but it didn't happen. I was so looking forward to swimming but sadly didn't get the chance.

Hi, Great video again. You can definitely see Sierra Nevada from the Calamorro: I have pictures with snow on the Sierra taken in January (a few days before the cable car shuts down for maintenance). But it's still a bit cloudy now, as one can see at 2:51. Your comments are a bit out of sync: at 2:17 you're still looking west. I have hiked down from the top a few times (I'm not a climber: too much weight) over different paths.

Such a atmospheric hike my friend, place looks so enchanting and simply enjoyable!

I would like to see more of the surroundings above. Right there where the video stopped.

OMG, so much debris especially the last few minutes of video. Most of it appears to be branches and twigs. Surprised not more plastic washed up. Guess your local council will be out with bulldozers gathering it up so that your tourist economy will not suffer too much. Feel for local residents and those holiday there atm. Keep safe 🐸

Train to airport up and running too. Was on it this morning, 15/11, at 6:30am. Very, very impressed by how quickly the authorities have got everything in the city back to normal. Two streets fairly near to us were flooded on Wednesday, the next day water gone. Well done Malaga and thank you.

Thanks for sharing! I will be visiting malaga in two weeks. I know the city quite well and remember the videos that my friends in Malaga sent me the 13th. It's remarkable how well it looks one day later.

Thank you for filming. I also enjoyed your other hiking videos. I spent a few winters in Benalmádena; I know the places at the end of the video well. I used to eat there and shop in the Av. Palmeras. How is the situation there? Does the water stay in Arroyo del Pantano, or does it flow into Av. Palmeras, or does it even flood the railway before that? Stay safe.
