Love this series. Wonder how many times he looks at his watch? Last gift from Sarah and remembers the last morning? The OJ he barely tasted, the egg shells for calcium and her wish to make him Breakfast Pancakes. Like our lives where we think I could have or not done something to change the whole course of our lives. Something we’ll not know. Blessings to all!!

When joel was there for her after what happened with david, you can tell that he knows what happened even though he wasnt there. The look on his face when she turns around fighting and screaming is just so heartbreaking. He knows what happened and he couldnt protect her from it. 😢
Exactly!! In that moment I feel like he broke and vowed to himself to NEVER let anything bad happen to her again, which is why he HAD to save her from the fireflies in the end

The "it's ok baby girl" always gets me. Not just for the obvious reason of that's what he said to Sarah. But also, he knew something terrible happened to her and she really needed to hear those words. He didn't ask what or pry, he just gave her as much comfort that he could possibly provide.

The part when Joel was injured and lying down and he told Ellie to go back to Tommy's was so heart breaking. When she put the jacket over him and turned to go, Joel had a tear coming down his eye. You can tell he wants her to go back to Tommy's but he was also scared of being left alone. When she came back to him, you can see that he was relieved to have her back at his side..😢😢

Seriously, TV series are sooo much better than movies nowadays. This is where actors get time to shine in their craft! Pedro will clean up at all the TV awards for sure- Emmy's, Golden Globes, SAG awards, Critic's Choice, etc.
