Ladies…ahhh, your special music was beautiful and uplifting. Calling upon the Lord, raising your voices in unison and with syncopation. Surely His name was exalted.

Did Nicodemus accept Christ as the Savior the night he met Jesus?
Hi sister Esther, thanks for your question. The truth is: we don't know! The scene moves away from that conversation without ever recording his reaction. The last thing we see him say is "How can this be?" in verse. 9. We do have good reason to believe, though, that he accepted Christ, in that up in ch. 7 we'll see him defend Jesus to other Pharisees in reminding them that he needs to have a fair trial before being pronounced guilty, and also in chapter 19, he helps Joseph of Arimathea with carrying the burial spices & helping bury him. He must've been so sad! But must've greatly rejoiced later. We'll have to talk to him in heaven to hear more of the pieces & how they fit together. :-)

Forgive me for any confusion on the title screen in the first seven seconds, I realized that problem after having processed the video, which takes 30+ minutes. I fixed the thumbnail, and was pleased that within my first introductory comments I got the day right, so didn't feel it was worth investing the 30-plus minutes to change that graphic.
Lol, at 4:56 I mean to say "anthropomorphisms", rather than "alliterations". :-)
I appreciated your understanding and sharing what you learned and still remember from your Academy days regarding the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16. Yes, Luke 16:31 makes perfect sense to me now as to the message that Jesus was trying to get across. Thank you, and may God bless our devoted teachers in Christian education!

At 18:05, I quoted it slightly incorrectly: 2 Corinthians 6:2 says "Today is the day of Salvation."
At 12:45, I was wrong! Apparently Moses does see pharoah one more time. It doesn't directly say it, but in Exodus 11:8, it says that "Moses, hot with anger, left the presence of the Pharoah". So he must've faced him one more time, without dying.

Thank you for helping me understand Matthew 7 chapter vs 21-23. The part about someone being able to cast out demons, and perform miracles and yet Jesus said He did not know them, kind of puzzled me. But you helped me see it in a different light! Thank you pastor!
You're most welcome, sister! Yes, it's a strange idea that someone could be a vehicle of God's work, but not a recipient themselves (at least in the long-run). I sometimes wonder if this is the case in, say, popular preachers who convert, baptize, and even heal, but then have some sort of a "fall from grace" due to pride (as we saw in the SS lesson happened with king Uzziah). Of course, if they repent, salvation is available, but they could end-up being lost, while people they've brought to the Kingdom are saved.
I am enjoying this daily Bible study so much more now that I can join in with Pastor Mark as he explains more fully each chapter. I am being blessed with extra little nuggets of truth each day! Thank you Pastor!
