#1 Tip for Success When Hunting with a Rifle.
When I hunt with friends, I always have a spotter to tell me where I hit. But when I am by myself. I don't have that luxury of a spotter.
So I practice all year like this spotting my own impacts.
Also limiting my self to 500 yards for hunting
Now shooting targets I will stretch out some rounds for sure.
But this is my limit when it comes to hunting. 500 yards
So try that next time can you spot where you hit shooting your bigger magnum cartridges.

CAN BULK 22 LONG RIFLE really compete?
มุมมอง 5789 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Is there any bulk 22 long rifle that is competeable. I enjoy shooting, but some of the 22 lr is just so expensive that it's tough to practice with. And play with like can I hit that rock over there and shoot a bunch at it. So that's why I have always shot blazer it's cheap to plink with. I've seen quite a few good videos on Federal Auto Match. I was quite surprised how well Federal Auto Match s...
Can 6.5 CREEDMOOR kill big game animals?
มุมมอง 4.5Kวันที่ผ่านมา
I was tagged out already and met up with a friend while hunting whitetail deer. It was an either sex hunt My friend wanted to get his son his first buck and this big buck gave us the opportunity we were looking for. So can a 6.5 creedmoor kill a buck. Boy it sure can. This young man was extremely excited and made a very good shot on his very first buck.

THERMAL HUNT. You gotta do it
มุมมอง 21121 วันที่ผ่านมา
Ever since I've got a thermal I've shot more mice than anything else. We don't have pigs in Idaho. I haven't been lucky enough to get any coyotes. But I enjoy the trigger time and you can get plenty of it shooting mice. Switching to the cmmg 22 converter kit made the AR more enjoyable to shoot vs running the bcg manually. Copyrighted music used not mine. #22longrifle #thermal

My 6 Arc extractor broke. Thankfully, I brought my 22-250, and it was a good thing because I shot quite a few rock chucks with it. My 22-250 is just a fun cartridge to shoot it has killed deer and is also a great varmint cartridge. It does have a bit of recoil because there isn't a brake on the rifle, so it can be tough staying on target, and when this little zapper connects with targets, there...

Damn the skill involved, when I was a boy road hunters were scum, things have changed. Now driving around is hunting. The old men that tought me would still consider that poaching.
@briankopp1369 Good point!! Well, unless you hunted from your house, you still had to drive to get there. If you saw a big buck along the way on public ground you wouldn't shoot it? Thanks for the comment!! Have a great day
Nice shot!. Hunting bullet or Match bullet? Frangible or Bonded? Thanks. These questions are asked for those who might be new to hunting. Thanks in advance.
@davestrohmeyer-saddleupsho8009 This is 147 gr eldm, yes lots of people will say they aren't a hunting bullet. But they work for me. Thanks for your comment. I saw a rock chuck out on my way home yesterday!!
People call it need more because they're putting up against . 277 and larger and saying its better. Within ethical distances its just another cartridge. Dont try and hype it into something it isnt.

@dnnyshdy5189 True
6.5 Needmore! If one can't laugh at himself and his equipment who can he laugh at? I love my Creed but I won't buy into the hype surrounding cartridges.
@ What hype?I’ve never heard any hype.
Deer are middle size Medium game. The creed isn’t suitable for bull Elk, Moose at any range over 150 yards. Too many at my counter hunt with eldm’s and wonder why the deer didn’t drop
@@338Alphadog I hunt with 147 eldm in 6.5 prc. Thanks for the comment
@@dirtroadsoldier8359hey soldier. I’ve tried that bullet in a 264 WM. Shot great groups. Had erratic performance on deer. A friend gave me the bullets after he pulled them from a creed. Went back to 129 Accubond at 3k+. Good accuracy and really performed well. Your prc a huge step up from the creed in energy on target. Good luck
@338Alphadog thanks you 2, thanks for the comment!!
Sure. So can a .22 lr. Doesn't mean its the best choice. 6.5 creed isn't giving you any kind of "major advantage" over any other big game cartridge like so many seem to want to believe. But yeah it will work.
@garytrainer1690 for sure, thanks for the comment
I don't think any cartridge really gives a major advantage unless you are using 50 caliber
@FrankBru Right go big or go home lol

Roll tide! I'm over by Summiton.
Yes! I also own a couple of creedmoor's. They haven't let me down yet. I've put down big bucks and big doe's with them. Like any rifle (that won't blow the whole front shoulder off lol), it's about shot placement. I've seen deer recover from so called "better deer rifles" with a misplaced shot. My first intro into the creedmoor as a hunting rifle, was the Mossberg w/Vortex scope, for $340 brand new. It holds zero at 200 yds, and has produced for me, now my wife. I shoot different rounds, and the creedmoor holds it's own. Great shot! Nice buck.

The 80g Sierra blitz boat tail is also very, explosive while 80g Bergers, not so much!
Try Speer T-N-T Bullets. You'll be impressed by the Red Mist they produce... They Vaporize Prairie Dogs~!
Nice shooting. Which phone attachment to your spotting scope do you use for filming.
@pauliehotdogs9495 I use phone scope, which wasn't bad with my old phone. But of course I dropped it and broke the screen. It was cheaper to get a new phone. Rather than fix the old. But the new phone have multiple lens so you have to pick a lens before recording otherwise when zooming in it will go black. New technology isn't always better. Lol thanks for the comment have a great day.

Why don't you eat them man? It is a bit of a waste.
I just bought mine last spring and have used it so far on 4 rifles and a crossbow. Works great. A piece of foam insulation around the upper part of the leg allows the rifle or bi-pod legs to "bite' in and stay put a bit better as well.
